This all began as a rumour, but has now gone public, big time, with tucker Carlson taking the issue up with gusto, perhaps more vibes than usual. It seems that he FBI, under orders from the Biden administration is targeting Trump supporters, seeking to arrest them for what seems to be mere constitutionally protected speech about election fraud. The issue is covered in detail by dt Steve Turley. What this shows is that America has become a leftist police state, with a fall of the rule of law. It is very bad optics, and will prove to be an electoral disaster for the Democrats.

“A mother and wife from a New Jersey suburb told Fox News' Tucker Carlson on Monday that FBI agents showed up at her door the morning after President Joe Biden's recent militaristic speech railing against "MAGA Republicans" and said they received an "anonymous tip" that she was at the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
What are the details?
Indeed, Lisa Gallagher is a supporter of former President Donald Trump and has voiced support for him on Facebook — as well as with a Trump lawn flag — but that's as far as it went, Carlson said on his program prior to interviewing Gallagher.
"You have not committed a crime of any kind," Carlson noted to her during his interview, adding that "you weren't even at the Capitol on Jan. 6."
Gallagher confirmed Carlson's statements and then described what happened to her.
"I was terrified," she told Carlson. "And I'll be honest with you, when my daughter woke me up telling me there were three armed FBI officers at my door, I thought she was joking and immediately tried to throw clothes on. I called my husband, I was crying, my knees were shaking. And even though I knew I 'd done nothing wrong, after seeing Joe Biden’s speech the night before, I thought, ‘Oh my God, this is political.’"
Gallagher added to Carlson that in her "frightened" state, she thought, "They can take me out of here in handcuffs. ... Am I not coming home?" She added, "So I went outside, and I said, 'Gentlemen, you are scaring me.' And they proceeded to tell me that they were given an anonymous tip that I was at the Capitol on January 6."
Carlson told Gallagher the FBI knew it couldn't be true since they have facial recognition software and lacked evidence.
Gallagher added that she nevertheless "invited them into my home so I could look at my phone and my calendar. And I have subsequently called the FBI office in Newark to just document or know for sure that it really was FBI agents at my home. And it was. And they said it was an anonymous tip, but they won’t tell me anything else."
The FBI's Newark office on Tuesday afternoon didn't immediately respond to TheBlaze's request for comment regarding Gallagher's claims.
'A theme in every authoritarian regime'
Prior to his interview with Gallagher, Carlson said she and her husband showed the agents her daily calendars from January 2021 and "finally convinced the agents that she wasn't at the Capitol that day. Imagine armed FBI agents showing up at your house because you supported Trump on Facebook and demanding records of your whereabouts on a date nearly two years ago."
Carlson continued: "The point — and this is a theme in every authoritarian regime ... was to use government agents to intimidate enemies of the regime on the basis of an anonymous tip." Carlson called the FBI's actions "Soviet — and there's no other word for it" and said the "same thing is happening to other supporters of the former president."”
“When I started watching Tucker Carlson, one of the things that made him enjoyable was that he always kept a little bit of an ironic distance from what he was covering. In recent months, though, that has changed. Tucker's angry, and righteously so. Monday night's monologue may have been his most fiery yet, because he focused on something we've all seen from the moment Biden swore an oath to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States": as all totalitarian regimes do, Biden is using the instruments of government to persecute his political opponents.
We saw it when Biden and his armed bureaucrats characterized a large protest and an accompanying small riot at the United States Capitol (especially compared to past Democrat and BLM riots) as an "insurrection."
We saw it when they imprisoned those people who had entered the Capitol (many under the impression that they were allowed to be there) and proceeded to hold them without bail, charges, or trial. When Democrats engaged in violent protests across America from January 2016 forward, Biden and his cohorts characterized those protests as "mostly peaceful" and righteous First Amendment actions aimed at challenging a fake president. Remember "The Resistance"?
We saw it when the same administration that's copacetic about drug-, sex-, and child-trafficking across a completely open border engaged in an all-out nationwide manhunt to track down every granny who wandered awestruck through the Capitol rotunda taking photos.
We saw it when Democrat politicians had a January 6 show trial in the Capitol.
We certainly saw it when Biden's FBI (for it certainly is no longer America's FBI) raided the home of Biden's probable presidential challenger in 2024 (that would be Trump) to seize documents that bureaucrats labeled as "classified" despite Trump, who had the sole plenary power to do so, declassifying them.
We saw it when Biden stood before a blood-red Independence Hall and characterized half the voters in America as dangerous threats to America's very existence.
We saw it yesterday, when Democrats either ignored the twenty-first anniversary of 9/11, when Muslim terrorists hijacked three four airplanes, destroyed the Twin Towers, and killed 2,977 people (including the ones murdered in the Pentagon), or, even worse than ignoring it, they compared the January 6 kerfuffle to 9/11 in terms of both effect and intention. As a reminder, only one person was killed on January 6: Ashli Babbitt, a small, unarmed, nonviolent veteran, whom a police officer murdered, after which he was lauded as a sympathetic figure and something of a hero.
And we're seeing it now as the DOJ and the FBI distribute subpoenas to every politician or activist outside Congress who dared question the bona fides of the November 2020 election. According to the Democrats, questioning the election is a semi-fascist, anti-democracy, insurrectionist thing to do. Before 2020, of course, when Democrats did it, it was patriots exercising their First Amendment rights. According to constitutionalists, using the police state to intimidate and harass one's political opposition is the real semi-fascist, anti-democracy thing to do.
Tucker Carlson has seen all this, too, and he understands what it means: it means that the Biden administration is unconstitutionally and illegally using the police power he gained when he entered the Oval Office to silence and intimidate his political opposition. In that regard, my bet with myself is that the (In)Justice Department will be indicting Trump before September ends. The base wants it, and the base shall have it.”
“LEE'S SUMMIT, MO — In an effort to escape the wrath of a weaponized federal government, supporters of former president Donald Trump are placing Biden signs in their yards with the hope that it will cause the FBI to pass over their houses.
"Of all the different catastrophes plaguing the country these days, we expect these FBI raids to be the worst," said Josh Wears as he hammered the post bearing the Biden sign into his front yard. "If we make it look like we're devoted Biden followers, maybe the regime will have mercy on us and we'll be spared."
Fears have grown among conservatives as they have watched the Biden administration unleash a series of devastating plagues on the United States, including crushing inflation, oppressive gas prices, high unemployment, and rising taxes. It only stands to reason, some say, that new waves of FBI raids are imminent.
"We've heard about the great exodus of conservatives leaving places like California, so we need to be ready for anything," Josh's wife Monique Wears said as she hurriedly prepared some unleavened bread. "Placing the Biden sign in the yard is just one of the ways we can be prepared for the coming storm. Plus, Biden's goons are probably dumb enough to be fooled by a yard sign anyway."
At publishing time, the Wears family was holding out hope that this ruse would do the trick. "I'm not sure what else we can do to avoid detection," Josh said as he surveyed the yard sign. "Painting the blood of a MAGA republican on our doorposts might be the next step."
