Play the Migration Card Again, Sam By James Reed

     As far as journalists in The Australian go, Gary Johns is very good, and brave. In his article “Time to Play the Migration Card,” after giving the usual platitudes about the majority of people supporting migration, he goes on to break ranks with the elites.  He rejects the idea that Australia is a multicultural society. It is not.   Australia is multiethnic, but is monolingual, with limited cultural diversity. India is an example of a true multicultural society.

     Host countries also have a right to demand that migrants fit in, and that is the price paid in migrating to Australia in the first place.

Then there is the Muslim migration issue, and here, just to make sure I get it right, I’ll quote via a cut ‘n’ paste from his article:

“A 2015 Australian Institute for Progress online poll reported that 45 per cent of voters say Muslim immigration is bad for Australia.  There are strong political divisions in these views: 75 per cent of Liberal and 69 per cent of non-ALP/Greens minor-party respondents say Muslim immigration is bad; by contrast, 22 per cent of ALP and 18 per cent of Greens respondents thought the same. Only 8 per cent of all respondents thought Muslim immigration had been good for Australia.
An online Essential poll last year reported that 49 per cent of Australians support a ban on Muslim immigration.
The main reason was “they do not integrate into society”.  A 2011 poll from the same pollster reported that 25 per cent of respondents believed the government “should exclude Muslims from our migrant intake”. To the same question, a 2015 face-to-face poll by Morgan reported 29 per cent, down from 36 per cent in 2010.
Australians are not unique in their distrust of Muslim immigration.  A recent survey of more than 10,000 people from 10 European states reported an average of 55 per cent agreed that all further migration from mainly Muslim countries should stop…. No majority Muslim country is a liberal democracy.
Many Muslims in those countries are illiberal. Their values are inconsistent with liberal Australia.
Until now, Australia has chosen immigrants mainly on the basis of language and employment skills. But even educated people may harbour thoughts and practices inimical to Australia.
Only an ideologue would believe that the disquiet felt by many Australians at the prospect of further Muslim immigration could be understood as the liberal society failing the test of multiculturalism.
Where multiculturalism clashes with the security of Australians it has little chance of remaining public policy. In a liberal society, the only quibble is how to arrive at the point of abandonment.”

So, shock, horror, what is being proposed in a national newspaper is a theoretical end to the ruling ideology of “non-discriminatory’ immigration, which was in fact highly discriminatory, being what I have previously called a “Yellow Australia policy.”  I, for one, see little hope of the Libs doing this because immigration has become the cargo cult of the West, an imperative for White European demographic death (while the elites make bucks as the race is displaced). The cucked Libs could not even revise section 18 C in a diluted form, because Nick XT did not want it. Remember that SA when the next election rolls in.

     I do not believe the so-called opinion polls giving 70 percent acceptance of immigration and 80 percent acceptance of multiculturalism, especially given that Australia is not strictly speaking multicultural at all, but that the word is a catch-all phrase for anything the elites like.  In any case, these numbers are suspiciously high, and if they were true, it just shows how the Australia people are being deluded for they would 'not' be supporting policies that undermine our social cohesion.
