Operation Hard Yakka: Sorting Out Troubled Youth By James Reed

My father, an ex-War War II vet, would always say when pondering the mischief that youth got up to in the 1960s, "Put'em in the army!" If the army was his army, not the woke establishment we have now, that would be good. Still, as noted by Malcom Roberts, Operation Hard Yakka, which as been operating on Fraser Island for almost two decades, has had a high success of putting troubled youth back on the right path. The idea of sending such youths to outback camps, manned by strong regimental sergeant major types, of the French Foreign legion stature, would be an excellent development rather than putting them through prisons, which are really now training camps for these youth.

"I've witnessed firsthand the impactful work of Operation Hard Yakka, a program that has been active on the Fraser Coast for nearly two decades. This initiative boasts an impressive 90% success rate in transforming the lives of troubled young individuals. Following the release of the One Nation crime policy, Nationals leader David Littleproud recently suggested sending young offenders to outback camps to instill "purpose in life." Liberal leader Peter Dutton supported this idea, emphasizing the importance of providing young people, especially those in divergent programs, with skills, particularly in trades. Despite One Nation's pioneering efforts in developing such policies, we often do not receive due credit. This includes our initiatives on nuclear energy, the ban on foreign ownership of residential property and the call for auditing the unaccountable aboriginal industry, all of which the Coalition has recently embraced. It seems unlikely that the Coalition will ever acknowledge One Nation for these policies, but what truly matters is that these ideas are being adopted. Voters know that One Nation is the real deal while the Nationals are cheap copycats. #WINNews #Youth #YouthCrime #YouthCamps
