Off to a Good Start: Giorgia Meloni Attacks Socialist Billionaire Georgie Soros By Richard Miller (London)

It is a good sign. Newly elected nationalist, pro-family prime minister Giorgia Meloni, has gone on the attack against socialist billionaire George Soros, who no doubt had put up big money to defeat her bit. What I find amazing is how utterly mean conservatives are with their money, right from the top of the tree, to even pro-active groups. One can pour one’s heart and life essences out, working away, living in poverty after losing one’s job and career as many Covid critics now face, but it is all taken to be part of the course, while the Left does more to support its “comrades.” I guess it is the liberal individualism of the movement, which never thinks in terms of cooperative military strategies, which will make people like Soros, who could be defeated if some conservative billionaires (assuming there are such creatures) put up the loot. But, no, everything is at the level of chook raffles. But, good luck Giorgia.

“Italy's new prime minister, Giorgia Meloni, a conservative nationalist, has denounced the influence of left-wing billionaire activist George Soros, stating that his globalist endeavors “deprive nations and people of their identity,” and without identity “you’re a slave” and “you serve the interests of Soros.”

“In a speech against the Migration Compact pushed by the United Nations, a plan to expand global migration, Meloni cited one leader, “’[I]t’s not in our national interest to sign our border protection policy over to the U.N.’" She continued, "The Migration Compact is exactly what is needed by those who have used illegal immigration in recent decades to complete the grand plan of financial speculation to deprive nations and people of their identity.”

“Because without roots you’re a slave, and when you’re a slave you serve the interests of Soros,” said Meloni.

In a March 24, 2019 tweet, Meloni said of Soros, “#Soros takes the field for the European elections by financing Emma #Bonino's party with € 200,000. He chose the left as an ally and we sovereignists as enemies. A great pride for the Brothers of Italy: keep the money of the usurers, our strength is the Italian people.”

Emma Bonino is a radical left Italian politician.

In a Sept. 23, 2022 article, The Atlantic reported,  “Since 2017, she [Meloni] has tweeted repeatedly that Italian identity is being deliberately erased by globalists such as Soros and European Union officials, who have conspired to unleash ‘uncontrolled mass immigration.’”

"I believe there is a design to use illegal immigration to push down workers' rights and wages. Soros isn’t a philanthropist but an international speculator,” Meloni tweeted on May 23, 2019.

The New York Times on Sept. 15, 2022, reported that Meloni “has in the past characterized the euro as the ‘wrong currency’ and gushed with support for Viktor Orban of Hungary, Marine Le Pen of France and the illiberal democracies in Eastern Europe.  She excoriated ‘Brussels bureaucrats’ and ‘emissaries’ of George Soros, a favorite boogeyman of the nationalist right and conspiracy theorists depicting a world run by Jewish internationalist financiers.”

The same article said Meloni “warned about an ‘empire’ of ‘invaders’ consisting of President Emmanuel Macron of France, Angela Merkel of Germany, Mr. Soros and Wall Street.”

George Soros, 92, has an estimated net worth of $8.6 billion. He made his money through several hedge funds and a major bet on the 1992 currency crisis in Britain. His website describes him as “one of history’s most successful financiers.” He supports many liberal/left causes through his Open Society Foundations, to which he has donated more than $32 billion over the years.

According to MRC Business, which monitors liberal media bias in business news, Soros has devoted his “life to constructing a leftist political legacy rarely, if ever, equaled. He has worked to reshape the U.S. and the world with his nebulous vision of an ‘open society’ through billions in funding to universities, media, politicians and left-wing groups.”

“In Soros’ view, the hallmarks of an ‘open society’ include global governance, open borders, fomenting unrest, undermining national currencies and donating millions to groups dedicated to crushing American exceptionalism and capitalism,” reported MRC Business. “Those who oppose his agenda have been his consistent targets — including Republican presidents George W. Bush and Donald Trump.”

“Soros’ radicalism has been shielded by the mainstream media,” said Joseph Vazquez at MRC Business.  “The liberal media have routinely attempted to falsely accuse journalists and conservatives of fomenting bigotry whenever questions about Soros’ left-wing funding are raised.”
