Now Even Physics is Politically Correct! By Brian Simpson

     In a previous article on the state of universities, I think James Reed said that the discipline of physics has held out against the current political correctness mania. He was wrong:

“A physics professor at the University of Pisa in Italy recently became the subject of an “ethics investigation” at his school following a lecture he gave about how modern leftist dogma that blames “sexism” for allegedly keeping women from succeeding in the sciences is absolute bunk. Alessandro Strumia boldly and unequivocally stated that “cultural Marxism” is responsible for pushing this ridiculous feminist propaganda, highlighting the fact that common leftist buzzwords like “microaggression,” “gaslighting,” and “mansplaining” are perpetuating the lie that men are somehow “mobilizing their masculinity” to keep women from achieving scientific success. Entitled, “High Energy Theory and Gender,” Strumia’s lecture, which took place at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Switzerland, was quickly criticized by leftists involved with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, also known as STEM, for allegedly being “discriminatory” against women.

“Physics is not sexist against women,” Strumia stated as part of his “controversial” lecture.”However, truth does not matter because it’s part of a political battle come from the outside. Not clear who will win.” These and other apparently politically incorrect statements also triggered CERN’s leadership, which claimed that Strumia’s statements defy the organization’s commitment to “promoting diversity.” CERN not long after pulled Strumia’s entire presentation from its workshop website, which is right around the time when the University of Pisa decided to target Strumia with an “ethics investigation.”

     Elsewhere, scientists have been sacked for saying that there are differences between men and women:

“A professor of neuroscience at Lund University in Sweden is on the verge of being fired simply for stating that there are fundamental differences between males and females that are “biologically founded,” and that aren’t based on “social constructs alone.” According to Academic Rights Watch, a Swedish publication that publishes its articles in Swedish, toxic feminists are rabidly demanding that Germund Hesslow, who holds dual Ph.D.s in philosophy and neurophysiology, be fired for expressing what they claim is “anti-feminism” and “transphobia” – again, all for merely pointing out that men are different than women. A “full investigation” into these wild accusations is currently underway at Lund, and Hesslow told the Swedish paper that there have already “been discussions about trying to stop the lecture or get rid of me, or have someone else give the lecture or not give the lecture at all,” he’s quoted as saying. “If you answer such a question you are under severe time pressure, you have to be extremely brief – and I used wording which I think was completely innocuous, and that apparently the student didn’t,” he added in a statement.

     Such is the present state of the mania of political correctness which is now the defining atmosphere of the universities in the West, and also here in Australia. That is one of the core reasons for the global campaign, advocated by James Reed, to shut down the universities and restore some sanity to society once more, for all that is evil comes from these cesspools and swamplands.
