mRNA Mania: The Global Push for Genetic Vaccines and the Left’s Blind Spot, By Chris Knight (Florida)

The 2025 Global Vaccine Forum in Seoul, hosted by the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) and Korea's CDC (KDCA), brought together over 180 bio-pharmaceutical leaders to advance mRNA and related vaccine technologies. The event, detailed in a July 4, 2025, article by Nicolas Hulscher, MPH, showcased plans for self-amplifying mRNA (saRNA), microneedle patch vaccines, AI-engineered injections, and mobile manufacturing units. While proponents herald these as revolutionary, over 700 peer-reviewed studies highlight serious biological risks, from biodistribution to vital organs to potential autoimmune and genetic complications. Yet, the Western Left, often vocal about corporate overreach or bioethics, remains largely silent on this unchecked push for global genetic manipulation, echoing their muted response to issues like China's alleged forced organ harvesting. This blog post examines the forum's agenda, the risks of mRNA technologies, and the Left's selective outrage.

The 2025 Global Vaccine Forum: A Blueprint for mRNA Expansion

Held on June 19, 2025, in Seoul, the forum convened pandemic profiteers, biotech executives, and global health bureaucrats to outline the future of mRNA and related platforms. Sponsored by EuBiologics and co-hosted by IVI and KDCA, the sessions revealed an ambitious agenda:

Opening Session: Dr. Dokeun Kim (KDCA) and Dr. Sanjay Singh (Gennova Biopharmaceuticals) framed mRNA as a cure-all, not just for pandemics but for autoimmune diseases and cancer. Singh promoted saRNA, which replicates within cells, raising concerns about uncontrolled genetic expression.

Session 1: CEPI's Dr. Martina Ochs outlined plans for pre-authorised mRNA vaccines for future outbreaks, emphasising speed over safety. Harvard's Prof. Dan Barouch claimed Covid-19 vaccines saved 20 million lives in 2021, a strongly contested figure, and pushed for intranasal or seasonal mRNA shots, ignoring questions about long-term efficacy and safety.

Session 2: Moderna's Dr. Robert Paris and others discussed AI-designed vaccines, merging synthetic biology to create shots in days. Mobile mRNA factories ("DeCAFx") were pitched as decentralised but enable rapid, global production, potentially bypassing regulatory oversight.

Session 3: Prof. Gerald McInerney and others championed microneedle array patches (MAPs) for "equity-friendly" delivery and saRNA for efficiency. MAPs, backed by the Gates Foundation, could include quantum dots to track vaccination status, raising privacy concerns. New lipid nanoparticles were touted for deeper tissue penetration, including to the brain and reproductive organs, amplifying risks of unintended biodistribution.

Session 4: Korean biotech leaders, including Prof. Jae-Hwan Nam (SML Biopharm), discussed mass production and public-private partnerships to scale mRNA for pandemic-level rollouts, prioritising infrastructure over safety assessments.

The forum's agenda, AI-driven vaccines, saRNA, MAPs, and mobile factories, signals a coordinated push to normalise genetic interventions globally, with no discussion of risks despite over 700 peer-reviewed studies documenting harms like myocarditis, neurological issues, and DNA integration risks.

Risks of mRNA Technologies: A Growing Body of Evidence

While mRNA vaccines were hailed as a COVID-19 breakthrough, their rapid development and deployment revealed significant concerns:

Biodistribution: Studies show lipid nanoparticles, used to deliver mRNA, distribute to organs like the heart, brain, and ovaries, with unknown long-term effects. A 2023 study in Nature flagged potential reproductive toxicity.

Autoimmune and Cardiac Issues: Over 200 studies link mRNA vaccines to myocarditis, particularly in young males, and autoimmune disorders due to immune system dysregulation. A 2024 Lancet paper noted increased inflammatory markers post-vaccination.

Self-Amplifying mRNA: saRNA, promoted at the forum, replicates within cells, potentially leading to uncontrolled protein production. A 2025 Journal of Virology study warned of heightened risks of adverse immune responses.

Microneedle Patches: MAPs enable unmonitored delivery, bypassing medical oversight. The Gates Foundation's quantum dot technology raises privacy issues, as it could enable permanent vaccination tracking.

Regulatory Gaps: The forum's push for speed, pre-authorised vaccines and mobile factories, sidesteps rigorous testing. A 2024 BMJ analysis criticised accelerated approvals for lacking long-term safety data.

These risks, documented in over 700 peer-reviewed papers, were absent from the forum's discussions, suggesting a prioritisation of profit and scale over human safety.

The Left's Selective Outrage: A Pattern of Hypocrisy

The Left's silence on mRNA's risks mirrors its muted response to China's alleged forced organ harvesting, discussed at the blog today, revealing a troubling double standard:

1.Ideological Blind Spots: The Left often champions bioethics, yet its support for "progressive" science, like mRNA vaccines, overrides scepticism. Big Pharma's role in global health aligns with statist tendencies, muting criticism compared to outrage over corporate greed in other contexts.

2.Media Dynamics: Western media amplify domestic issues like racism or misinformation, but downplay Big Pharma's overreach, possibly due to funding ties. For example, a 2023 Guardian investigation revealed pharmaceutical companies sponsored health coverage at major outlets. Meanwhile, China's influence, via state media like CGTN, suppresses scrutiny of its abuses.

3.Economic and Globalist Ties: The Left's globalist leanings align with organisations like CEPI and the Gates Foundation, which fund mRNA initiatives. This creates reluctance to challenge their agendas, similar to the soft stance on China due to trade dependencies.

This selective focus, railing against perceived misinformation while ignoring documented risks, parallels the Left's reluctance to confront China's human rights abuses, as both involve powerful institutional players.

To counter the unchecked mRNA agenda and the Left's double standards, several steps are needed:

1.Demand Transparency: Regulatory bodies must mandate public disclosure of mRNA trial data, including biodistribution and long-term safety studies. Independent audits of CEPI and IVI funding could expose conflicts of interest.

2.Amplify Dissenting Voices: Platforms like X should be used to elevate researchers and whistleblowers, such as those publishing in Nature or BMJ, who question mRNA safety. Grassroots campaigns can pressure media to cover risks objectively.

3.Strengthen Oversight: Governments must resist pre-authorised vaccines and mobile factories, enforcing rigorous, independent testing. A 2025 Lancet editorial called for moratoriums on saRNA until safety is proven.

4.Challenge Leftist Inconsistency: Progressives must be held to consistent standards, criticising Big Pharma's overreach as fiercely as other corporate abuses. Public debates linking mRNA risks to bioethical principles could force accountability.

5.Investigate Global Networks: Scrutinise public-private partnerships, like those with EuBiologics and Moderna, for profiteering. Tracing Gates Foundation funding could reveal undue influence on global health policy.

The 2025 Global Vaccine Forum underscores a troubling push to normalise mRNA and related technologies, from saRNA to microneedle patches, without addressing over 700 peer-reviewed studies warning of serious risks. The Left's silence, contrasted with its vocal stance on other ethical issues, reveals a hypocrisy rooted in ideology, media bias, and economic ties. Just as China's alleged organ harvesting demands global scrutiny, the mRNA agenda requires robust oversight and public debate. By amplifying evidence, strengthening regulations, and challenging selective outrage, we can ensure that human safety, not corporate profit, drives the future of genetic vaccines.
