Major Douglas’ “The Causes of War” and the Present Rush to the NWO Great Reset Collapse from Nuclear War By James Reed

In these times of rumours of war, and at present the war of words, Major Douglas’ “The Causes of War: Is Our Financial System to Blame?” should be on everyone’s required reading list. Douglas delivered this speech in November 1934 on the BBC, something that is inconceivable today given the woke Leftism of the BBC now. But it happened. Here is a transcript from the Douglas Social Credit society, but a copy is coming soon to On Target:

Although a short address it is profound. The conditions of war are always with us as there are economic irritants, such as the removal of industrial unemployment, and the capture of foreign markets. Douglas said “Any village which has two grocery shops, each competing for an insufficient, and decreasing, amount of business, while continually enlarging its premises, is a working demonstration of the economic causes of war - is, in fact, itself at war by economic methods.” What is true at the individual level, also applies to the wider national context of conflict, which is mediated by economic considerations as well. As Douglas says:

“It is poverty and economic insecurity which submits human nature to the greatest strain, a statement which is easily provable by comparing suicide statistics with bankruptcy statistics and business depression. Suicides are less in numbers during wars, not because people like wars, but because there is more money about. Suicides are less in number during trade booms for the same reason. To know, therefore, whether war is inevitable, we have to know whether, firstly, there is enough real wealth available to keep the whole population in comfort without the whole of the population being employed, and, secondly, if this is so, what is it that prevents this wealth from being distributed. In regard to the first question, I believe there can be no doubt as to the answer. We are all beginning to be familiar with the phrase "poverty amidst plenty", and it is generally admitted that the crisis of the past decade has been a crisis of glut and not a crisis of scarcity. Yet during that crisis, poverty has been widely extended, because unemployment has been widely extended. So that we have experimental evidence that full employment is not necessary to produce the wealth that we require - it is only necessary to the end that we may be able to distribute wages - quite a different matter. In regard to the second question, therefore, we know it is lack of money in the hands of individuals to enable them to buy the wealth which is available, and not the lack of available goods, which makes men poor. As our arrangements are at the present time, money is primarily distributed in respect of employment, which, as the glut has shown, is in many cases not necessary, or even desirable. So that it is not too much to say that the causes of war and the causes of poverty amidst plenty are the same, and they may be found in the monetary and wage system, and that broadly speaking, the cure for poverty and the beginnings of the cure for war can be found in a simple rectification of the money system. This rectification must, I think, take the form of a National Dividend, either in a simple or more complex form, so that while there is real wealth to be distributed, nobody shall lack for want of money with which to buy.”

There is no doubt that such monetary reform would certainly take the steam out of the globalists frenzy to pump up populations for war, with imposed poverty. It is perhaps no coincidence that the Covid lockdowns, which economically and psychologically impoverished many, are followed by the threat of war, which the globalists are promoting as part of a Satanic agenda to breakdown the West, and reconstruct it along the transhumanist lines well described by the World Economic Forum. The Satanic technology of genetic engineering gain-of-function was not known in Douglas’ day, but speculated about; however, the evil of its intent would have been recognised by him.

The solution is to organise as never before to resist this, by the grace of Christ, as the drums of death are being beaten evermore loudly by the Satanic centralists, who are so evil that if necessary they would condemn the planet to ashes if they think that they are going to fail in their quest of total domination of the human essence.

In another round of escalating rhetoric, the European Union’s top diplomat said that the Russian military would be “annihilated” if Vladimir Putin launches a nuclear strike in Ukraine.

The war or words surrounding the war in Ukraine continued on Thursday, with EU Foreign Affairs Chief Josep Borrell saying that “such a powerful response” would come from the West in response to any nuclear action from Russia, that its military would be wiped out.

Speaking from a European Diplomatic Academy event in Bruges, Belgium, Borrell said: “There is the nuclear threat, and Putin is saying he is not bluffing. Well, he cannot afford bluffing.

“It has to be clear that the people supporting Ukraine and the European Union and the member states, and the United States and NATO are not bluffing neither.

“And any nuclear attack against Ukraine will create an answer — not a nuclear answer but such a powerful answer from the military side — that the Russian army will be annihilated, and Putin should not be bluffing.”

It is not clear who exactly Borrell was speaking on behalf of, given the European Union does not have an army and he holds no formal position in the NATO hierarchy.

The comments from the EU’s top diplomat come amid increasingly heated rhetoric from nearly all parties involved in the conflict.  Vladimir Putin said last month that he would be willing to use “all the means at our disposal” to defend Russia, and further raised eyebrows by claiming that the United States has already set a nuclear attack precedent against Imperial Japan during World War II.

Ukrainian President Zelensky, for his part, response by demanding that NATO to launch nuclear “preemptive strikes” against the Russian Federation in order to prevent them from using their nukes first, though Ukraine later tried to walk back the comments.

While the American public and other world leaders were promised that a Biden presidency would be a ‘return to normal’ in terms of foreign affairs, the 79-year-old Democrat made one of the most bellicose statements from any president in recent memory, warning of a looming “Armageddon” as a result of the war in Ukraine.

“We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since [President] Kennedy and the [1962] Cuban missile crisis. I don’t think there’s any such thing as the ability to easily use a tactical nuclear weapon and not end up with Armageddon,” Biden said.
