Joe Biden is campaigning now out in the open, no longer from the safety of his basement as occurred during the 2020 Covid scamdemic. And his theme is a quasi-theological one, of saving the soul of the nation. The soul is defined in terms of radical Leftist ideology, such as white replacement immigration, open borders, and persecution of all conservatives.
Take the abortion issue. Here Biden spoke out against pro-life states, depicting these states as “extremist,” and said that he would do all he could to promote abortion. The Biden administration has been promoting abortion both in the U.S. and abroad, and recently dropped various safety regulations on abortion drugs. These drugs are now allowed be sold through the mail, increasing the risks of complications and abuse, but also increasing the number of abortions done by individuals in pro-life states. Biden also instituted a policy that forces taxpayers to fund abortion travel for military members and their families, and cut off health care funding to pro-life states.
Biden claims to be a Catholic, but his position on abortion is contrary, even to that of the woke Pope, let alone genuine Catholics, let alone Christians, orthodox Jews and orthodox Muslims.
“Joe Biden campaigned for re-election Thursday on the notion that killing unborn babies in abortions is somehow good for “the soul of America.”
According to the Washington Times, fighting for America’s “soul” is a key message of Biden’s second presidential run, but pro-life leaders say his actual policies show the opposite.
“The Biden administration and the progressive left have a perverted, skewed understanding of the soul of America,” Brian Burch, president of CatholicVote, told the Times. “They are ripping the country apart with this assault on our children that includes the so-called right to destroy an innocent life and to destroy a child’s innocence with the radical LGBTQ ideology.”
During a press conference Thursday, Biden mentioned abortion in connection to fighting for “the soul of America.” In a comment about state abortion bans, he promised voters that he will continue to fight against “extremists” who are “dictating what health care decisions women can make,” according to the report.
However, state pro-life laws do not ban health care – something tens of thousands of doctors confirm. They ban the elective and unnecessary killing of unborn babies in abortions. Every abortion restriction includes clear exceptions that allow doctors to protect pregnant mothers’ lives by providing care for miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies and other medical problems.
Burch said Biden should work to help end abortions if he really wants to restore America’s soul, because “the most precious right of every human person to live and breathe free, including the unborn,” is fundamental to a healthy society.
Instead, the Biden administration has been aggressively promoting abortion both in the U.S. and abroad. His administration recently dropped life-saving safety regulations on abortion drugs and now allows them to be sold through the mail, increasing the risks of complications and abuse.
He also instituted a new policy that forces Americans to fund abortion travel for military members and their families.
Biden’s administration even is hurting poor women by cutting off health care funding to pro-life states because they protect unborn babies.
If he has his way, Biden would get rid of the Hyde Amendment and force American taxpayers to pay directly for abortion on demand through Medicaid and other programs.
He wants Congress to pass a radical pro-abortion bill nicknamed the Abortion Without Limits Up to Birth Act, too. The legislation would force states to legalize abortions for basically any reason up to birth, end bans on sex-selection and taxpayer-funded abortions, and jeopardize laws requiring parental consent for minors, informed consent and conscience protections for pro-life medical professionals.
Biden is radical and out of touch with most Americans on the issue. Polls consistently show a majority of Americans support strong limits on abortion, including parental consent for minors, and bans on late-term abortions and taxpayer funding for abortions. LifeNews highlighted 25 recent polls showing support for pro-life laws.
For nearly 50 years under Roe v. Wade, states were forced to allow abortions for any reason up to viability, and more than 64 million unborn babies were aborted.
Now, because of Dobbs v. Jackson, 15 states protect unborn babies by banning all or most abortions, and others are fighting in court to do the same. Research from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America estimates roughly 60,000 unborn babies have been saved from abortion so far.
But many more could have been saved already had it not been for Biden’s radical pro-abortion agenda.”
