Stina Holmberg, research councilor at Brå, believes that women have a higher tendency to report a rape if the perpetrator is an immigrant.

– It may be that you are more inclined to report something you have been exposed to, if the crime was committed by someone you feel more alien to, and who has low social status, Holmberg told Aftonbladet, according to SVT.

Holmberg says, however, that it is “conceivable” that immigrants commit more rapes because they have a different culture.”

Oh, I guess that explains it, and makes it all alright.
