Integration/Multicult Nonsense by James Reed

In the Politics, Book V, Aristotle said: “Another cause of revolution is differences of races which do not at once acquire a common spirit. A state is not the growth of a day. Hence the reception of strangers, in colonies either at a time of their foundation or afterwards has generally produced revolution.”
Such wisdom has not been part of Australian politics, obsessed as it is, with globalism and manic growth capitalism since the beginning.

Whenever there is public concern about mass immigration and multiculturalism, the power elites roll out the old “they will integrate” mantra, as they have been doing since 1947, when all this really got going.

The government is proclaiming the integration dogma again in its new statement on multiculturalism, The Australian, March 20, 2017, p. 1. The statement allegedly rejects identity politics and grievance and now lists individual freedoms, such as free speech. Anglo-Australians are now listed as part of ethnic Australia, probably because mass immigration has now made them into ethnic minorities.

Australia is likely to have a non-White majority before that, by at least 2040.

As for Mal Turnbull’s multiculturalism statement, this is all smoke and mirrors. The Human Rights Commission has not been abolished or even reformed, and the changes to section 18 C will only be cosmetic and will do nothing to save free speech. Multiculturalism has destroyed any possibility of an “integrated” Australia, because migrant numbers have been so vast that there is nothing to integrate with, but the economic shell of a society.
