Christopher Roach was written a powerful piece debunking the mythology of immigration, from a US perspective, but which can be generalised to the West. The piece is interesting as he does not hold back, as conservatives usually do. In particular he observes that the US Gen Z, the product of mass immigration, is majority non-white, and basically anti-West, as recent protests have shown. Contrary to the ideology of assimilation, the children of the migrants to the US from the Third World, have revived their parents’ culture in a bid to obtain an authentic identity. They may also regard the traditional American and Western culture as a form of imperialism, and see the need to oppose it, and replace it with a culture of their own making. And that is what they are doing now, creating a new non-white future.
In general Roach dismisses the mantra that diversity from immigration is “our greatest strength.” No, this ignores low IQs, crime and unemployment, while not characteristic of all migrants to the US, is found in many. Others are solely interested in their own economic gain, and have no care for traditions. He concludes: “Far from making us stronger, immigration policy has created a political and cultural monster that neither party can now control.”
