Women and Survival: We are the Champions! By Mrs Vera West
According to some researchers women have a survival advantage over men in critical, life-threatening conditions, such as wars, famines and social collapse:
“Women in almost all modern populations live longer than men. Research to date provides evidence for both biological and social factors influencing this gender gap. Conditions when both men and women experience extremely high levels of mortality risk are unexplored sources of information. We investigate the survival of both sexes in seven populations under extreme conditions from famines, epidemics, and slavery. Women survived better than men: in all populations, they had lower mortality across almost all ages, and, with the exception of one slave population, they lived longer on average than men.
Gender differences in infant mortality contributed the most to the gender gap in life expectancy, indicating that newborn girls were able to survive extreme mortality hazards better than newborn boys. Our results confirm the ubiquity of a female survival advantage even when mortality is extraordinarily high.
The hypothesis that the survival advantage of women has fundamental biological underpinnings is supported by the fact that under very harsh conditions females survive better than males even at infant ages when behavioral and social differences may be minimal or favor males. Our findings also indicate that the female advantage differs across environments and is modulated by social factors.”
Thus, the differential survival rate is initially due to differences in the infant mortality rate. Females may have a biological advantage due to oestrogen having a protective effect on the immune system. As well, I hypothesise that women are likely to be more cautious and less prone to risk-taking, recognising their relative weakness and vulnerability, which, ironically, gives them a further survival edge.
This is not surprising, given that it is in evolutionary survival interest that more females survive, since males can fertilise many females, and thus in a way, men, from an evolutionary perspective, are the expendable sex. I am not saying that any type of polygamy is justified, only that if males die off, it is not necessarily the same demographic disaster as having females die. This is just common sense.
However, there are still some fierce “warrior” women, and there may still be some Viking spirit left, as Norway’s lady leader Erna Solberg has said they will abandon the Geneva Convention if Sweden collapses:
“Norway is prepared to abandon the Geneva Convention if Sweden collapses. The border will be closed by force, and Swedish refugees will be rejected without the possibility to seek asylum. “We are prepared for the worst,” says Prime Minister Erna Solberg.
There is such an imminent danger that the Schengen agreement, and the asylum system in Sweden will break down, that Norway must have an emergency legislation in place in case it happens, believes Norway’s Prime Minister Erna Solberg. Therefore, she has crafted a law that will allow for Norwegian authorities to reject asylum seekers who do not come directly from a conflict area.”
Shield maiden Erna has more guts than most cucked male Western leaders.
