The Demons of Political Violence By Chris Knight
What has been described as the “demons of political violence” seem to be gripping the world, from France to America. We all needs to pay attention to the smoke signals of the time:
“Slowly but surely, they’re taking away all our acquis, the acquired rights that our elders fought for,” says Didier. “In 1936 we got paid holidays; later, unemployment benefits. Now they’re trying to take away our pension rights. Macron, stop taking away our acquis!” Macron wants to shift all France from a defined benefits scheme to a defined contribution scheme, called a points system. “I don’t know what a points pension means,” says Jean-Pierre. “I don’t think Macron knows either. . . I hope we paralyse the country. I don’t give a damn about Christmas, because if Macron keeps at it there’ll be no turkey, nothing to eat. I call him the vulture.” Four police officers stand nearby, shuffling their feet and rubbing gloved hands against the cold. They wear RoboCop vests and shoulder and arm protectors and speak through woollen mufflers. If they can just prevent rioting today, they hope the movement will fizzle. “Is it true that [interior minister Christophe] Castaner says we can keep our early retirement?” the officers ask. Two leading police unions called on members to strike. Castaner appealed to them to remain on duty, and promised their right to early retirement will not change. Hubert Labrousse (75), a retired researcher for the Institut Pasteur, joined Attac 15 years ago “because the Communist Party sank and the Socialist Party was no longer socialist”. Labrousse chomps a cigar and wears a top hat, three-piece suit and white scarf, a mockery of a rich man. He sees this protest as the continuation of the gilets jaunes movement that started in November 2018. “I don’t want a civil war,” he says, “But we’re seeing the first signs: the rise of the far-right, the gap between rich and poor . . .”
From France to America:
“Democrats are “summoning the demon of political violence,” meaning they are taking active steps right now that will result in blood spilling onto the streets of America. And they are doing it wilfully. This is the outcome they want (see below for why). Essentially, Democrats operate from the rule that if they can’t control society, they will destroy it. To understand how this is going to happen, recognize that elections are a civil replacement for political violence. Before elections and democracy emerged, the rulers of nations were largely determined by who could kill their political enemies and seize power. For millennia, nearly every national ruler was a mass murderer, since obtaining political power required killing anyone who stood in their way. Elections sought to make the process of regime change more civil, allowing the people to choose their representatives in a system of voting that, to function in a civil manner, requires all participants to agree to the outcome of the vote, even if their favored candidate loses. Similarly, the brutality of violence was also supposed to be replaced by a fair, transparent justice system where no person is above the law and every person receives the same rights when accused: The right to face your accuser, the right to call witnesses in your defense, the right to cross examine the prosecution’s witnesses, and so on.
Democrats have abandoned every pillar of civil society
The reason this is important to understand is because Democrats have thrown these pillars of civil society out the window in their desperation to destroy Trump and overthrow America, turning it into an authoritarian regime run by a twisted combination of techno-fascists (like Google and Twitter) conspiring with deep state operatives who despise the Constitution. Together, they have silenced free speech in America, deprived the President of the United States any shred of due process (in the treasonous Schiff impeachment trials) and sought to nullify the will of the People who voted for Trump in 2016. Democrats, in other words, have abandoned the rule of law and the pillars of civility that hold civil society together. By doing this, they are begging for a return to the brutality of political violence, almost as if they are saying that since elections no longer matter, and the rule of law is no longer in existence, and the press is no longer free or fair, it’s okay in their minds for people to just start killing each other to determine who holds power. I call this treacherous action by the Dems “summoning the demon of political violence,” and it’s exactly what Democrats are doing.”
It is quite possible that there is an actual spiritual dimension to this struggle too; that the demons of political violence, unleashed, will actually be demonic in the traditional theological sense. Certainly, the level of concentrated evil that has been displayed by the elites in recent times seems to transcend the purely human dimension. This is seen in many ways, one in particular being the attacks on Christian churches going on all across the West, but especially in Europe, a symbolic form of theological war no doubt:
Franklin Graham has described the coming political violence as a great unravelling, and the flash point in America could be the removal of President Trump, although that threat by impeachment has passed, but now it will take the form of stealing the election by rigging it.
These are just some of the warnings one encounters joining up the dots of the news stories from study of internet sources each day. It is important for personal survival to be aware of the coming perfect storm that the ship of humanity is blowing into, and the reefs that threaten to sink the ship.
