The Death of the Real James Bond: Sean Connery By Bruce Bennett

The 1960s for me as a kid,  were spend out in a mining town. There was not much to look forward to as a kid, but there was James Bond movies every few years, and I developed a passion for Bond, based upon the charismatic macho character portrayed by Sean Connery.

I have seen all of the Bond movies over the years, and detest the politically correct Daniel Craig versions. If Connery's era had the CGI, the old movies would be unbelievable, but even today, they are still excellent entertainment in stifling age of insane wokeness. The Connery Bond, in movies such as Goldfinger, would be seen as uber sexist, and we would not see the macho scenes that helped keep some men, men, in a time of disintegration.

Connery died age 90 0n October 31, 2020, in Nassau, Bahamas, a balmy place for Bond to cash out, rather than cold Scotland. He is now playing golf in the great golf course in the sky.
