The Coronavirus Loves the Elites Too By Brian Simpson

Here we do not wish ill health upon anyone, but I note that many elites have caught the corona virus, the latest being British prime minster Boris Johnson:

Boris himself is of the view that things will get worse before getting better, that there is more misery to come:

Still, all that aside, the coronavirus has delivered an early Christmas present to the globalist super-elite, giving them a stocking full of communist riches:

“Let’s count up all the goodies covid hysteria pandemic nets them:
•    They get to distribute hundreds of billions, even trillions in dollars, euro and pound among their friends in the name of making up for an economic slowdown amid outbreak and countermeasures.
•    They get to posture as decisive men of the moment who take drastic action when circumstances demand it. And when spring sunshine takes care of the viruses, as it does every year, they can posture as our saviors.
•    They get to push us off the streets and into our homes. Forget Kim Jong-il, Stalin or African post-coup martial law, this is the real deal. It’s a level of repression even North Korea couldn’t get away with. It serves to bring relief from and possibly break the populist revolt (gilet jaunes anyone?), but more than that don’t forget about the straightforward pleasure these people get from exercising power and feeling important.
•    They get to dodge the blame for the coming economic collapse. A collapse which was due to happen soon anyway, as something or other was bound to burst the global debt bubble their central banks and monetary policies had blown up, but which will now be blamed on corona. What a dodge!
This hysteria pandemic has been such godsend to them. So much so that if I were in their place I would be looking to extend it for as long as possible.
I would make sure everyone who died while having coronavirus would be counted as its victim. And I would drown the land with corona test kits (who cares just how reliable they are having been approved so quickly) to make sure the number of infected keeps rising for as long as possible as an ever-greater proportion of your usual seasonal patients with flu-like symptoms are identified as having the dreaded covid-19.
If Trump is smart he’ll put the US under a European-style martial law to extend the crisis. The bigger the virus hysteria and the greater the fallout from anti-virus measures the more believable his claim in November that it was a great economy until the unfortunate act of nature/God.”

Then there is the Easter egg to libtards who want to see the jails empty  … just because, I think, that is the anarcho-tyrannical  thing to do, especially when one can release prisoners convicted of murder, with the victims being children in two cases:

“Newsom’s commutations include 14 inmates convicted of murder or related crimes. Suzanne Johnson, 75, of San Diego County, has served 22 years for assault on a child causing death, while 64-year-old Joann Parks of Los Angeles County, has served 27 years but denies setting a fire in her home that resulted in the deaths of her three young children. Rodney McNeal, 50, of San Bernardino County, has served 22 years for fatally stabbing his pregnant wife, a crime he also denies.

The others include:
— Kristopher Blehm, 35, of Santa Barbara County, has served nearly 12 years for helping murder his crime partner’s romantic rival.
— Steven Bradley, 56, of Kern County, has served 32 years for killing a gas station attendant during a robbery.
— Jason Bryant, 40, of Shasta County, has served 20 years for armed robberies in which one victim was fatally shot by an accomplice.
— Rosemary Dyer, 67, of Los Angeles County, has served more than 33 years for fatally shooting her husband.
— Samuel Eldredge, 61, of Humboldt County, has served 25 years for fatally shooting his crime partner’s housemate.
— Richard Flowers, 64, of Tulare County, has served more than 25 years for killing a woman during a robbery.
— Robert Glass, 48, of Los Angeles County, has served more than 26 years for murder during a burglary.
— James Harris, 56, of Los Angeles County, has served more than 30 years for a drug sales-related kidnapping and the murder of two victims.
— David Jassy, 45, Los Angeles County, has served 11 years for killing a man during an altercation.
— Shyrl Lamar, 68, of Sacramento County, participated in a robbery in which her crime partner fatally stabbed two victims.
— Ramon Rodriguez, 49, of Los Angeles County, has served 22 years after he was paid to kill the victim.

Two of the pardons are intended to help lawful immigrants who face the possibility of being deported based on crimes they committed years ago. Waters said that would be “an unjust collateral consequence that would harm their families and communities.” One is Tri Thai, who the governor’s office said was age 18 in 1994 when he was convicted of receiving stolen property and age 21 when he was convicted of a gang-related assault with a firearm, second degree burglary, and attempting to dissuade a witness. The other is Monsuru Tijani, who was convicted of perjury in 1986, check fraud in 1991, submitting false financial statements in 1995, and submitting false financial statements in 1999. The governor’s office said he “has turned his life around,” but he faces religious persecution and possible incarceration if he is deported to Nigeria because of his conversion to Christianity. The remaining three pardons are all Los Angeles County cases. Gabriel Garcia and Shannon Thomas-Bland were separately convicted of drug offenses in their early to mid-20s about three decades ago. Brenda Ibanez robbed two convenience stores in 1999, and in 2005 she tried to buy motorcycles with a fake driver’s license.”

Of course, it is all for the best and will only improve the diversity and excitement of the modern collapse.
