Hidden Debts on China’s Belt and Road Imperialism By James Reed

As reported by The Australian Financial Review, September 30, 2021, China’s Belt and Road Initiative has hidden debts for those enslaving themselves. Research suggests that hidden debts and undisclosed liabilities total $ US 385 billion. The research was done by AidData, a research centre based at the College of William and Mary in Virginia, US. The debts are substantially larger than previous estimates. Thus, 40 countries have debt levels greater than 10 percent of their GDP. There is also an under-reporting of repayment obligations to China by as much as 6 percent of GDP.

Some Dissent Righter are promoting China as an alternative to a corrupt USA. Corrupt the US may be, but that does not mean that China is free from the same imperialism, with world conquering intentions, for the enemy of my enemy is not my friend, but just another enemy. Clearly, it is not.
