Going Solo By James Reed

I am vaguely aware of Star Wars, the movies, which are now going fully politically correct. The latest movie is called Solo, and I don’t know what it is about, nor do I care. But, it has been slanted to give an in-your face dose of political correctness, and the good news is that the movie will lose money:

“Justice League opened to $94 million over three days. Solo opened to $83 million. Solo might clear $100 million over the four-day Memorial Day weekend, but just barely, which is what Justice League cleared over four days without its particular Monday being a holiday. Solo’s $83 million is almost half of what Rogue One made over three days ($155 million). With a production budget north of $250 million and easily another $150 to $200 million poured into promotion, Solo will need to clear around $900 million worldwide just to break even. But worldwide, the news is even worse: Solo has grossed a pathetic $65 million after opening in every major country but Japan. Rogue One earned $135 million during its international debut. Solo is going to lose money.”

Of course, enough money is made from “canon” movies to allow the ultra-pc ones to be made, but these type of pc propaganda movies are becoming more frequent. It would be nice if the sheeple would wake up and simply not go to them. Consumer choice would then lead to natural selection working its magic; bankruptcy. But, that is too much to expect of the average punter.
