Compulsory Flu Jabs on the Way By Richard Miller (London)

Now the World Health Organization has told us that Covid-19 is forever, like HIV, presumably no vaccine is in sight, and if it was, social control must continue, because, well …

“The WHO has warned coronavirus 'may never go away' and that mankind will have to learn to live with the disease in the same way it adjusted to HIV. Dr Mike Ryan, director of the WHO's Health Emergencies programme, was asked yesterday how long it might take before we emerge on the other side of COVID-19. 'I think it's important to  put this on the table: this virus may become just another endemic virus in our communities and this virus may never go away.' Dr Ryan told the Geneva press conference. 'HIV has not gone away, we've come to terms with the virus and we have found the therapies and we found the prevention methods and people don't feel as scared as they did before and we're offering life to people with HIV, long healthy lives to people with HIV.'

That being so, in the UK, always something of a test case, the old refuted argument that the lockdowns are to “flattened the curve,” not just flatten us, have been abandoned, and now it is back to, we need these measures to prevent hospitals collapsing. The thought of that scares sheeple. So, under the cloak of fear the UK moves to have compulsory winter flu jabs to supposedly keep the NHS from being overwhelmed, even though it never is by the flu:

“Everyone in the UK may have to get the winter flu jab to prevent the NHS from getting overwhelmed this winter if coronavirus still poses a threat. Government ministers have reportedly been advised to vaccinate all members of society by next winter for free, in an effort to free up hospital beds. Under current policy, less than half of the population are eligible to a free flu jab. The vaccine is currently free on the NHS for young children and those aged 65 or over. The possibility of vaccines for everyone in the country is now being looked into by government scientists, the Sun reported. It comes amid concerns a second wave of Covid-19 in the winter months could overwhelm hospitals if it coincides with an outbreak of the flu. Chief medical officer Professor Chris Whitty has previously warned that a second wave of coronavirus during the winter could prove devastating.”

Well, as far as I am concern, I will not get the flu jab. If I die, I die. I will not be going to hospital either, but will go to the north of England, and take in what sun and fresh air I can, then if I die, nobody will be harmed, except perhaps for the feral dogs who eat my remains:

“Spending time in the fresh air and sunshine can reduce someone's risk of catching the coronavirus, a scientific adviser to the Government has said. People are now allowed to spend as much time as they like outdoors - as long as they keep socially distanced from others. The first step out of the draconian lockdown, which has now been in place for 52 days, was announced by the Prime Minister on Sunday and began on Wednesday. Scientists have said the minor tweak in rules is because there is a 'low risk' of the virus spreading between people outdoors. Professor Alan Penn, a member of SAGE, the Government's Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies, reassured that those who flock to the parks that the risk of catching the virus outside is lower. He said: 'The science suggests that being outside in sunlight, with good ventilation, are both highly protective against transmission of the virus.'”
