Beware, the Coming Plague By Brian Simpson

     While there are sceptics from the Dissent Right, poo-pooing the idea of a coronavirus plague, there is material out there that needs careful consideration before blandly accepting the mainstream media claim of only 26 dead … oh wait that is now 54 dead with 300 new cases, with the disease contained to the Chinese ground zero of the city of Wuhan. In fact, the Chinese President Xi Jinping, has said that the spread of the virus is accelerating and that the situation is “grave,” no pun intended.

18\ New R0 estimate by Imperial College London scientist is 2.6 — with each infected person infecting 2.6 others. This is a really bad cascading value considering we have no vaccine and it comes amidst flu season. Other thoughts here:

And while these reports are unconfirmed, we know the most reliable sources are from people on the ground. The least reliable are state or government sources. The Coronavirus in China is spreading, and largely could have been prevented. A town 7 km from where the virus was discovered in Wuhan had a state run banquet with 100,000 people eating off of the same dishes. This was 2 days after 49 cases were confirmed in Wuhan, China. I just received a call from a close American friend of mine who just got off the phone with a Chinese friend, who has relatives in Wuhan. He says there may already be ~10,000 dead there from the virus. He was quite graphic about dreadful conditions in the city. He opined that the government was not coming clean on real facts. Imagine that? It is far worse Bill than people imagine: My friend reiterated that Wuhan, more than other places in China, has a local population which consumes rats, bats, snakes, etc. , just like I told him. His Wuhan relative recounted incidents of people walking down street and dropping dead. I see why the government has quarantined the place, which means nobody (especially the press) gets out or into the city. This is really scary stuff. I imagine that China was, and is covering up what they thought was contained and now is not and I doubt they understand the scope of global fallout that they have unleashed.

     There is enough information here for readers to be concerned. As with any plague, the best defence is isolation, so it would be a good idea to stock up on food and bottled water, make sure one pays bills, so there is no need to travel in out globally diverse multicult. Sir Isaac Newton survive the plague, by getting out of the city, and working on mathematics and physics in the country side, at Woolsthorpe manor, as Cambridge University shut down … what a blessing. And, nothing stops us from brushing up on a bit of multivariable vector calculus, or differential geometry, while the world goes to hell in a basket, whatever the saying is.

     The fact is that humanity in techno-industrial civilisation, is a mere blip in human history. Life takes place in a seemingly protected womb, but it is a temporary illusion. The forces of nature red in blood and claw, most notably microorganisms, will eat away the weak from the inside. This is, as the Bible tells us, a fallen world, not a utopia, one destined for eventual destruction:
