How Crazy is Woke and Trump Derangement Syndrome? By Charles Taylor (Florida)
With the impending arrest of Donald Trump, the woke Leftoids are in a feeding frenzy. A telling example of this is the response given to one of their own, commentator Van Jones, a Black, who was roasted for merely saying that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg would not ultimately pursue a criminal case. This was based upon his legal analysis, which could be right, or wrong. However, the woke responded to this sensible observation by saying that Jones was “betraying his skin colour and doing the "bidding" of white supremacy.” The Trump case has nothing at all to do with race, but for the Left, the mere mention of Trump is enough to set them off and raise their blood pressure.
“Van Jones was harshly criticized on Tuesday after predicting that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg would not ultimately pursue a criminal case against former President Donald Trump.
"My view about this is: I think that the heat is on this DA. I think he's going to make a very sober decision, and I would not be surprised if he doesn't step back from the brink," Jones said Monday night on CNN.
Jones added that the potential case is "proof" that progressives are not "well organized" and even suggested that Republicans are right to criticize Bragg's purported aggressive pursuit of a weak criminal case.
"I hear my conservative friends saying he is being overcharged, it is so aggressive. It's so terrible. Welcome to my world, folks," Jones said. "Prosecutors overcharging, being over-aggressive, being ridiculous with minor stuff and turning it into major stuff happens every single day in America, every courthouse in America."
Jones then reiterated that pursing the case is not "the right way to go" because "history is not going to judge Donald Trump based on Stormy Daniels."
What was the reaction?
Liberals and people excited about the prospect of Trump being prosecuted lashed out at Jones for his remarks. Jones was accused of betraying his skin color and doing the "bidding" of white supremacy.”
