Trump is considering pulling out troops from Germany and replacing them in eastern Europe. There are about160,000 active-duty personnelstationed outside of the United States, and a large amount are in Germany. Trump has said that said that he was finding it more difficult to deal with Ukraine and that it may be easier to deal with Russia to seek a peace deal. A source close to the White House told The Telegraph: "Trump is angry that they [Europe] appear to be pushing for war." Trump wrote on social media: "Based on the fact that Russia is absolutely 'pounding' Ukraine on the battlefield right now, I am strongly considering large-scale Banking Sanctions, Sanctions, and Tariffs on Russia until a Cease Fire and FINAL SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT ON PEACE IS REACHED.

"To Russia and Ukraine, get to the table right now, before it is too late. Thank you!!!"

have been taking the line that Trump is part of the grand conspiracy, and he with Europe is moving to a war footing. That could prove to be true, but merely restationing US troops does not in itself prove that. But, as always, time will tell.
