Geoengineering: Weaponising the Weather, By Brian Simpson

Dane Wigington, the relentless voice behind GeoengineeringWatch.org, isn't mincing words: Geoengineering, spraying aerosols from jets to dim the sun and "manage" climate, is "the greatest and most immediate threat that creation faces," short of nuclear winter. In his December 2023 Brighteon.TV chat with Dr. Steven Hotze, Wigington ties it to a century-old military obsession: "He who controls the weather controls the world," per LBJ's 1962 nod. From 40-60 million tons of nanoparticles dumped yearly (his estimate) to shredded ozone and poisoned rain (aluminium spikes from 7 to 3,450 ppb in his tests), it's a "crown jewel" of the military-industrial complex, Raytheon, Lockheed patents in hand, for SRM (solar radiation management) and weather warfare. Real history (Operation Popeye's Vietnam monsoons) meets conspiracy shadows (chemtrails as covert ops). Let's chase the clouds, facts vs. fiction, military might vs. ecological minefields, because if weather's a weapon, we're all in the crosshairs.

Historical Thunder: From Cloud-Seeding Shenanigans to Strategic Storms

Weather as warfare isn't Wigington's fever dream, it's documented doctrine. The U.S. military's flirtation kicked off post-WWII: Project Cirrus (1947) seeded a hurricane with dry ice, allegedly steering it ashore (debunked, but spooked). Enter Operation Popeye (1967-1972): Over 2,600 sorties dumped silver iodide on Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh Trail, extending monsoons 30-45 days, swelling mudslides that bogged North Vietnamese logistics. Declassified in 1974, it birthed the 1977 UN ENMOD Convention, banning hostile environmental mods after Senate outcry: "The U.S. is conducting ongoing rainfall enhancement and storm modification operations." ENMOD's loophole? "Peaceful" uses skate free.

Cold War escalation: Project Stormfury (1962-1983) tamed hurricanes with silver iodide; the Soviets' 1980s "Active Influences" zapped clouds over Moscow Olympics. U.S. Air Force's 1996 "Weather as a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025" envisioned "artificial weather" via nanotech fogs, tornadoes on demand, floods for foes. Fast-forward: China's 2020 "Sky River" plan seeds 5.5M sq km yearly; UAE's 2024 cloud-seeding fleet (100+ flights) boosts rain 15-30%. X buzzes with suspicion: @nogps1's September 2025 thread (3204 views) blasts U.S. Air Force's 1996 report as blueprint, tying to "weather now a weapon."

Geoengineering's Double-Edged Sword: SRM as Saviour or Saboteur?

Wigington's core beef: SRM, spraying sulphates or aluminium to reflect sunlight, masks warming but shreds the biosphere. His rainwater tests? Aluminium from 7ppb to 3,450ppb over 18 months, blaming "nano-dispersions" from Raytheon/Lockheed jets. Patents? Real, US #5003186 (1991) for stratospheric aerosol injection; global tonnage? Wigington's 40-60M tons yearly is speculative, but IPCC AR6 (2022) models SRM at 1-5M tons sulphur/year for 1°C cooling.

Weapon angle? SRM's dual-use: Block sun over enemy fields (drought inducement) or amplify storms via RF/microwaves (HAARP echoes). LBJ's 1962 quip? Spot-on, weather's the ultimate asymmetric tool: Flood foes without fingerprints. Geoengineering is military science; weather is a weapon for demographic control.

Risks? Termination shock: Halt SRM abruptly, temps rebound 1-2°C, per Nature Ecology (2018). Ozone shred? Confirmed, sulphates eat 5-10% layer (Harvard models). Wigington's aluminium? Debunked as natural/soil leach, per USGS; chemtrails? Contrails, per NASA/atmospheric scientists. Conspiracy spillover? Cambridge's 2023 study: #Geoengineering tweets (814k, 2009-2021) link 60% to chemtrails.

Global Tempest: Current Capabilities and Ethical Eddies

Today? Cloud-seeding's king, U.S. (10 states, 50 ops/year), UAE (200 flights), India (rain for monsoons). SRM? Lab-bound: Marine cloud brightening (salt sprays), stratospheric aerosols (balloons). Military? DARPA's 2024 "persistent optical wireless" eyes weather-adaptive comms; China's PLA integrates AI for "intelligentised" warfare, including fog dispersion.

Wigington's "greatest threat"? Weather weaponisation's no myth: Popeye's legacy, ENMOD's scars, 2025's seeding fleets prove weather's a warfighting wildcard.

"Researcher Dane Wigington has warned that geoengineering is the greatest and most immediate threat that creation and the human race is facing.

"This [geoengineering] is the greatest and most immediate threat that creation faces, and the human race faces short of nuclear cataclysm," Wigington told host Dr. Steven Hotze during an episode of "The Dr. Hotze Report" on Brighteon.TV. He continued that the gravity of climate engineering's threat happening in the skies and the weather can't be overstated.

According to Wigington, those in power have always sought to control the weather. He even cited a 1962 speech of former President Lyndon B. Johnson delivered when he was still vice president. "He who controls the weather controls the world," Johnson said at the time.

Weather control is the crown jewel of the military-industrial complex, and it is a weapon that can bring nations to their knees without the populations knowing they are under assault. Wigington said this has been business as usual for decades, with patents for modifying the weather going back over 100 years.

The geoengineering expert recounted to Hotze how he stumbled upon this field. Wigington began his research after losing massive amounts of solar power uptake in his northern California off-grid home. He eventually found out that his solar power production dropped by 60 to 80 percent whenever jets emitted chemtrails near his home.

He then began to test the rainwater he collected to see if climate engineering elements were contained in the precipitation. The first rain tests showed seven parts per billion (ppb) of aluminum, while the subsequent tests over the next 18 months showed a dramatic increase – amounting to 3,450 ppb of aluminum.

The climate engineering researcher stressed that aluminum should not be found in the rain and that freeform aluminum does not exist in nature naturally. Aluminum has to be mined, refined and distributed before it can exist.

In response to Hotze's question about how he discovered the aluminum nanoparticles, Wigington said they were in the precipitation and the air column. He added it is a primary element named in climate engineering patents held by American defense contractors, Raytheon and Lockheed Martin, among others.

Wigington was eventually forced to face the fact that these geoengineering operations have contaminated the Earth; shredded the ozone layer; disrupted both the weather and rain patterns; and poisoning the air that people breathe.

40 to 60 MILLION tons of NANOPARTICLES dispersed globally every year

According to Wigington, the possible total amount of dispersion worldwide annually is about 40 to 60 million tons of nanoparticles – an inconceivable volume of toxic elements being dispersed into the atmosphere, which settles down to the ground and people get to breathe.

These particles, which are mainly used for solar radiation management (SRM), block direct sunlight to slow the warming of the planet. SRM's purpose is to block some of the sun's incoming thermal energy, but it is also employed for weather warfare. Moreover, Wigington said the particles used for SRM are also being manipulated using radio frequency microwave transmissions.

He ultimately told Hotze that geoengineering is an all-out assault against Earth's remaining life support systems on an already badly damaged planet. Wigington also lamented how humans have been very poor stewards of the planet. The attempt to manipulate the planet's life support systems in its most egregious form must be stopped, or it will be game over.
