FBI Targets Trump in “Fishing” Operation By Charles Taylor (Florida)
There is an enormous number of issues associated with the FBI raids, involving 30 officers, more than in major drug operations, upon former President Trump’s Florida home. Work had me near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, so I joined the protests/show of support outside. I told everyone that we need all to man polling stations, to call out everyone they can for security on election night in November.
So, to the raid. There is speculation about what it was for, ranging from having presidential files, security material, or even related to January 6, but probably they were fishing for something to put Trump out of running for the presidency in 2024. The liberal Left are poo-pooing the seriousness of the act by saying that, well, if a judge signed the search warrant then there must be evidence of a crime! No, judges who are politicised do this all the time. Here is some material about the judge who signed the search warrant, who should be investigated further:

At the White House on Tuesday, Biden spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said President Biden was not briefed ahead of the predawn raid Monday on Trump's South Florida home.
A reporter asked if Biden was concerned that the raid of the home of a potential 2024 presidential election opponent had the appearance of being politically motivated.
"The Justice Department conducts investigations independently, and we leave any law enforcement matters to them," Jean-Pierre replied. "It would not be appropriate for us to comment on any ongoing investigations."
She referred reporters to Biden's statement when he nominated Merrick Garland as attorney general of the "need to restore the honor and integrity of the Justice Department" after it allegedly had been "so badly damaged" by the Trump administrationBottom of Form
Trump said in a statement Monday that such "an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries."
"Sadly, America has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before," he said.
The Herald reported Reinhart resigned from the South Florida U.S. Attorney's Office on New Year’s Day 2008 and began representing Epstein's employees the next day.
He is one of three federal magistrate judges in the West Palm Beach offices of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District Court of Florida, the Post noted, along with William Matthewman and Ryon McCabe.
On Monday, the Herald reported, two warrant applications were assigned to Reinhart. However, the warrants and information about the targets remain sealed. Another warrant was issued Friday by Reinhart, but its contents were also sealed, the paper said.
The New York Times reported the FBI agents were searching for 15 boxes of classified documents allegedly brought from the White House in January 2021 at the end of Trump's presidency. That would be a violation of federal record-keeping laws. However, Trump had the authority to declassify documents, some analysts argue.”
Eric Trump said that the FBI had found nothing, even after breaking open a safe. The FBI has done politically motivated raids numerous times, including Project Veritas, an organisation exposing corruption, that time over Biden’s daughter’s diary, which had revelations of possible sexual abuse.

In any case, all of this is excellent. It has stirred up and radicalised Republicans who are outraged, and have demanded that FBI Director Christopher Wray appear before Congress to explain the bureau’s decision. While the liberal sites are saying that this is not another Watergate, in fact this is much worse, as the Democrats had already committed one “Watergate” with spying on Trump previously, and now may have conducted an unprecedented illegal raid on a former president, something that has not been done before. Hopefully this alone will bring the corrupt FBI, now a secret police force for the Democrats, down. Certainly, it is a clear demonstration of the total corruption of the system, as Trump said.

The Justice Department wouldn't say whether Attorney General Merrick Garland had personally authorized the search but it's highly unlikely a raid on a former president would take place without the AG giving it the stamp of approval.
Garland and his DoJ are under heavy political pressure of their own - from Democrats who want the former president indicted to Republicans who will blast any probe as election-year politics.
President Joe Biden's White House had no heads up on the raid. Senior White House officials found out about the FBI’s Mar a Lago raid on Twitter, the New York Times reported.

Trump did not appear to be Mar-a-Lago, his private club and residence, when the raid took place. He was in Texas over the weekend.
He usually spends August at his golf club in Bedminister, N.J. Photos posted to social media show him there on Sunday, posing with a newly-engaged couple.
But Trump was in New York City on Monday, reports said.
The raid was believed to be tied to a DoJ investigation into the boxes of records containing classified information that were taken to Mar-a-Lago.
In February, the National Archives and Records Administration asked DoJ to examine whether the former president violated federal law. There are multiple statutes governing classified information, including a law punishable by up to five years in prison that makes it a crime to remove such records and retain them at an unauthorized location.
National Archives officials recovered 15 boxes of White House materials from Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in mid-January.
Among the items Trump had to return were correspondence with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un that Trump has described as 'beautiful letters' and a handwritten letter that former President Barack Obama had left behind in the Oval Office for his successor.

The former president said that he has been politically persecuted “for years,” and pointed to the Russia collusion hoax narrative and two failed impeachments as examples of the continued persecution.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) came out with a blistering response to the Monday FBI raid on former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence, reportedly in connection with materials Trump brought with him after leaving office.
"The raid of MAL is another escalation in the weaponization of federal agencies against the Regime’s political opponents, while people like Hunter Biden get treated with kid gloves," said DeSantis. "Now the Regime is getting another 87k IRS agents to wield against its adversaries? Banana Republic."
Moments ago, Donald Trump - who is still banned by Twitter - published a statement on Truth Social in which he said that his Florida home, Mar A Lago is “currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents", an assault which according to Trump "could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries." He is probably right. He also claims the Fed's presence was unannounced and the reason was politically motivated.
