Europe’s March to Madness: Are They Itching for Another War? By Richard Miller (Londonistan)
The air here in Europe feels thick with the ghosts of wars past—yet here we are, watching the continent's leaders stumble toward a cliff they seem hell-bent on leaping off. The Russia-Ukraine conflict grinds on, a million souls lost, maybe more, and instead of seeking peace, Europe's elite are pounding their chests like Neanderthals drunk on their own arrogance. Are they asking for another European war? The signs are there, plain as day, and if you're not at least a little alarmed, you're not paying attention.
Let's rewind the tape. The American Thinker lays it out:

This mess kicked off years ago when Ukraine's Russian-leaning east, especially Donbas, split off after the 2014 ouster of Yanukovych. Civil war erupted, Minsk agreements crumbled, and Kyiv shelled its own people—ethnic Russians, mostly—for six years. Russia, right or wrong, stepped in by 2022, claiming to end the bloodshed. Kyiv points fingers at Moscow; Donbas blames Kyiv. Truth's a casualty here, buried under rubble and propaganda. But fast forward to now, and what's Europe doing? Not brokering peace, that's forsure. They're egging Zelensky on, pumping him full of weapons and delusions of "lasting peace" that sound more like a fantasy novel than a strategy.
Take UK Prime Minister Starmer's latest brainstorm—a plan to flood Ukraine with cash, boots on the ground, and planes in the sky. This isn't leadership; it's lunacy. NATO's already got its fingerprints all over this war, and now they're itching to make it official? The blog's X post from Clandestine nails it: "It's about to become clear to the world that NATO are the ones pushing for WW3." Russia's not exactly a pushover with its nuclear arsenal, and yet Europe's acting like it can waltz into this bear's den and come out unscathed. History whispers a warning: the last time Europe got cocky, millions paid the price in blood.
And for what? The post hints at the dirty secret: this isn't about Ukraine's freedom. Brussels, that bloated bureaucratic blob, loves to play "leader of the free world," arresting meme-posters at home while preaching democracy abroad. Zelensky's no saint either—locking up dissenters, cancelling elections, all under the war's convenient shadow. Europe's not defending a shining democracy; it's propping up a pawn in a bigger game. The real prize? Keeping Russia in check, sure, but also flexing muscle to justify their own existence. Starmer and his ilk want a war they can win on paper, not one that'll leave their cities glowing in the dark.
Trump saw through this charade. The blog praises his call to pull back, to let Europe carry its own weight. He floated a minerals deal—Ukraine's resources for America's investment—something tangible, not endless handouts. Zelensky spat in his face, and Europe cheered, but where's their plan? More vague promises of "security guarantees" that mean American GIs dying in Donetsk while Germany sips coffee and counts its euros. The jingoism's deafening—Starmer's "boots on the ground" bravado could spark a fire that engulfs the continent. Russia's not blinking; why should it, when NATO's the one escalating?
The hypocrisy's galling. Europe's happy to let Ukraine bleed as long as America's bank accounts stay open, but when Trump says "enough," they clutch their pearls and cry betrayal. The post's right: this could expand the war, and fast. Russia's got missiles too, and they're not aimed at Kyiv alone. If Starmer's planes start buzzing, how long before Warsaw or Berlin's in the crosshairs? Europe's national character—arrogant, Leftist, desperate to avoid repeating history—might just drag it into a rerun of the 20th century's worst hits.
So, are they asking for it? It feels like it. Brussels and Kyiv talk peace but act like war's their only language. Trump's out, trying to dodge this tar pit, and Europe's mad he won't play along. A million dead, no end in sight, and now boots and planes? This isn't strategy, it's suicide dressed up as courage. If Europe keeps this up, they won't just get another war; they'll get a reckoning. And this time, don't expect Uncle Sam to ride to the rescue. They will all have to fight it out on their own, and die alone.

"European leaders in Brussels declare themselves the "leaders of the free world" while arresting citizens for memes. Likewise, they claim Putin woke up one morning, had a cup of coffee, and attacked the beautiful democracy of Ukraine..."unprovoked."
Who do they think they're trying to fool?
Americans ought to know that the war started in 2014 when Yanukovych was forcibly removed from office. Some Ukrainians call it a coup, others a glorious revolution—the only difference being political affiliation.
Supporters of Yanukovych, mostly in Donbas, chose to secede and, like most secessions, it led to a civil war. Much later, the Minsk agreement was brokered to give Donbas some degree of autonomy.
Despite this agreement, Kyiv intermittently shelled the folks in Donbas, most of whom have Russian ethnicity, over a period of six years. In 2022, after years of failed negotiations, Russia decided, rightly or wrongly, to take matters into its own hands, vowing to end the conflict.
Kiev blamed Russia for the shelling. Residents in Donbas blamed Kiev. Who was at fault? Who knows?
Either way, none of that matters now. It's 2025, a million people have died, maybe more, and there is no end in sight.
Indeed, despite spending hundreds of billions on a foreign conflict that doesn't directly affect the American people, our establishment media advocates spending more tax dollars to save a "fellow democracy," while omitting the fact that Zelenskyy arrests dissenters and political opponents, while using the war as an excuse not to hold elections. (Many nations, including our own, have managed elections during a war.)
I wonder if perhaps it's time for those who display their Ukrainian flags to rethink what it means: Specifically, does it mean supporting Brussels, a large, inefficient, bureaucratic machine that blames Russia for all of Europe's economic woes and whose war mongers thump their chest like foot-dragging, knuckle-dragging Neanderthals? Or does it mean supporting the Ukrainian military, which goes door-to-door, dragging men to war, forcing conscription?
How many of us would volunteer to travel to Ukraine to fight on the front-line?
Regarding peace, Zelensky and Brussels incessantly use two phrases: "lasting peace" and "security guarantees," but their proposals are vague and unrealistic. In the real world, a security guarantee would mean American boots on the ground in Ukraine.
I would argue that Trump made the right decision. The jingoism in Europe may expand the war, but we should not get involved."
