Musk argued that Left-wing media and figures like California Gov. Gavin Newsom have outpoured anti-conservative hysteria. "The left-wing mainstream media … has created a climate of hysteria against right-wing figures that could radicalize any number of unstable people to engage in political violence," Musk wrote.

The effects of this are to radicalise unstable individuals, already on the edge from psychiatric meds, and thus lead to political violence. However, this is not restricted to merely these individuals, as surveys indicate that the Left is increasingly seeing violence, civil war, or revolution, as the answer to their regaining of total power in America. There is strong support among young Leftists for assassination as a tool for his revolution. A 2025 Network Contagion Research Institute survey found that almost half of Left respondents believed assassinating President Donald Trump or Musk himself would be "somewhat justified." Youtube featured scores of interviews after the Charlie Kirk assassination where young Leftists thought this was a good thing, with many saying that they would shoot as well.
