Dragon Gates? By James Reed

In the puzzling things category, why do so many buildings in Hong Kong have holes right in the middle of them? With space being short, one would have thought that nothing like this would not occur. I made a quick guess that it had something do with wind, but just as quickly dismissed the idea, as other buildings without holes survive high winds fine. No, the answer is to let dragons fly through, unobstructed, from the hills to the sea. Otherwise the dragon might get angry. Yes, well, fine, but couldn’t the dragon just fly over the building? And what happens if a dragon gets stuck in one of the holes, the dragon being overweight, eating high fat, high sugar, Chinese takeaway?

As we Australians become a part of China, we need to know these things.
