Diversity Mania as Anti-Western and Anti-Enlightenment, By Professor X

The modern concept of "diversity," as promoted by "progressive," or rather degenerate Leftist ideologies, is often framed as a celebration of inclusion. However, it increasingly functions as a mechanism to enforce conformity, suppress individual liberty, and dismantle the Enlightenment principles that underpin Western civilisation. Far from fostering true pluralism, this diversity narrative undermines reason, universal truth, and the cultural cohesion of the West.

The Enlightenment valued reason, individual rights, and the pursuit of universal truths. Yet, contemporary diversity initiatives often value group identity over individual merit, subjective experience over objective evidence, and ideological purity over open debate. Policies like affirmative action or diversity quotas, for instance, judge people by race or gender rather than qualifications, contradicting the principle of equal treatment. This focus on group-based outcomes echoes pre-Enlightenment tribalism, where status was tied to collective identity rather than personal achievement.

Free speech, a hallmark of the Enlightenment, is also under siege. Dissent from the diversity orthodoxy, whether questioning climate change dogma or challenging gender ideology, is frequently met with accusations of bigotry, followed by censorship or social ostracism. This mirrors the religious dogmatism the Enlightenment sought to overcome, replacing one form of heresy with another.

The diversity agenda often embraces contradictory ideologies in its opposition to Western norms. Progressives may champion LGBTQIIA+ rights while simultaneously supporting groups like Hamas, whose theocratic ideology rejects liberal values. This selective moral relativism, excusing illiberal practices in non-Western cultures while condemning Western traditions, betrays the Enlightenment's commitment to consistent ethical standards. It also reveals a deeper aim: not to celebrate diversity, but to erode the West's cultural and intellectual foundations.

Western civilisation, rooted in Christian values and Enlightenment thought, has historically balanced individual liberty with cultural cohesion. The diversity narrative, however, often dismisses this heritage as inherently oppressive. By valuing multiculturalism without assimilation, it risks diluting the shared values, such as civic duty, free expression, and rational inquiry, that have sustained Western societies. The fear, as voiced in some critiques, is that unchecked demographic and cultural shifts could replace Western traditions with incompatible ideologies, fracturing the societal bonds that enable liberal democracies to function.

Far from being a neutral call for inclusion, the modern diversity narrative often operates as an anti-Western and anti-Enlightenment force. By valuing group identity over individual merit, suppressing dissent, and embracing contradictory ideologies, it undermines the very principles, reason, liberty, and universalism, that have defined the West's progress. True diversity would celebrate varied ideas and robust debate, not enforce a monolithic worldview under the guise of inclusion. The first step in combatting this, is to recognise the problem.

"Diversity" is nothing but a totalitarian joke.

It is an anti-democratic, anti-American, anti-logical term, a meaningless trope employed by would-be authoritarians to gaslight the masses for their own gain.

In truth, a word Democrats and so-called "progressives" view as vampires look at a cross, they hate actual diversity, such as that of thought, opinion, policy, and, gasp, judgement.

Democrats/progressives/Marxists (most often one and the same) want no part of anyone who hasn't drunk of the liberal Kool-Aid.

They disdain strong, competent, respectful, accomplished, talented, intelligent, prompt, well-dressed, sane, and sober folks as "bigoted," "racist," "sexist," and "xenophobic" deplorables, fascists, white supremacists, and members of the despicable patriarchy. You know, those dastardly straight, white, male, Christians.

The diversity they prefer looks uncannily like compelled "conformity"-- and a living hell of mandated thought and action. They will not be happy until every living human is part of the LGBTQIIA+ Community and is an "ally" of that community, preferably flying a PRIDE! flag 365 days of the year.

And yet, concurrently, if mind-bogglingly, a good progressive today must also be pro-Muslim and pro-Hamas.

Ergo, if recent history is any guide, "diversity" means that soon every single male in the U.K. and parts of Canada and the U.S. will be named "Mohamad," "Mohammed," "Mohammad," "Mohamud," "Muhammad," et al.

We've already made a good start in this endeavor. It is now the most popular baby name in the U.K. when the various iterations are included.

To be a respected member of the "diverse" community, one must not be a white person in South Africa, but must — unequivocally and unquestioningly -- believe in man-caused climate change. And the efficacy of COVID vaccines. And that Trump is a Nazi, and Musk is an evil rich person trying only to further feather his own nest. And that members of the LGBTQ Community are systemically "marginalized."

If you don't believe all these things — and I mean all of them and many more — just as they do … you are an intolerant, insufficiently diverse-loving bigot who must be cancelled or otherwise expunged.
