Discovering More Climate Change Scam Money by the Billions! By James Reed

The discovery of scams that have ripped of the US taxpayer just keep on coming as Musk's DOGE digs ever-deeper. In the early months of 2025, a significant financial discovery within the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sent ripples through the political and environmental communities.

Lee Zeldin, the newly appointed EPA Administrator under President Donald Trump, unveiled that the previous administration had discreetly allocated a substantial $20 billion to an external financial institution, later identified as Citibank. This fund, derived from the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act's Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, was intended to support various climate initiatives.

Delving deeper, Zeldin's team uncovered that a notable $2 billion portion of this fund had been designated for Power Forward Communities, a nonprofit organization with affiliations to Stacey Abrams, the former Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate. This revelation was particularly startling given that the organisation's recent tax filings indicated a mere $100 in revenue for 2023, raising questions about the prudence and oversight of such a large grant.

The manner in which these funds were managed raised several concerns. The decision to place $20 billion outside of governmental oversight, coupled with the rapid allocation to eight entities responsible for further distribution, suggested a deliberate attempt to expedite funding with minimal scrutiny. This strategy was highlighted by a Project Veritas exposé, where an EPA adviser candidly described the hurried disbursement as "throwing gold bars off the Titanic," aiming to allocate funds before the incoming administration could intervene.

Administrator Zeldin expressed deep reservations about the transparency and accountability of these transactions. He emphasized the unprecedented nature of such a financial manoeuvre in EPA history and underscored the necessity for immediate corrective measures. Zeldin called for the termination of the financial agent agreement with Citibank and the prompt return of the funds to the EPA to ensure proper oversight and allocation.

This episode not only cast a spotlight on the financial practices of the previous corrupt Biden administration but also ignited a broader discourse on the ethical implications of allocating vast sums to organizations with political affiliations. It showed just how much taxpayer's money has been thrown down the black hole of the climate change scam.
