Daniel Penny a Freeman: BLM No Respect for the Rule of Law, By Chris Knight (Florida)
Daniel Penny, a White former marine, was on trial for chokehold death of Jordan Neely on a New York City subway car in 2023. Neely, mentally-ill and on drugs, was threatening to kill people and Penny took action and restrained him. The judge dismissed the second-degree manslaughter charge against Penny after jurors said they could not come to a unanimous decision. Then the negligent homicide charge was heard, and the jury found not guilty.
The response from Black Lives Matter (BLM) was disturbing, as Natural News.com notes: "BLM NYC leader Walter 'Hawk' Newsome, who identifies as Neely's uncle, called for "black vigilantes" and denounced the verdict, stating, "F**k America. How dare you laugh and cheer when someone gets away with murdering us."
Newsome here gives us an insight into the racialist thinking of BLM, where he dismisses a jury verdict. It is hard to find the racial composition of the jury, but we know there were Black jury members. If Penny was a Black marine, he would be a hero, but a White man acting to lead to the death of a Black sets off the anti-White racism of the system today. Still, even given that, the case against Penny was so absurd that it would not succeed even in New York, and that is saying something, as I think President Trump would agree.
