     We received some good feedback from an American intellectual dissident who liked one piece that I did on political correctness and free speech. She linked her article giving a survey of free speech in the United States, land of the once free, and gave us permission to reproduce it. The article is excellent, and we hope readers find it informative. For the minority of readers who may find the near apocalyptic concerns of some writers, somewhat exaggerated, it is important to realise that many thinkers are now going down the same path, as many of us, being concerned with a collapse of social institutions. If a number of sources, to take an example, told you that there was a plan by a crime mob to assassinate you tonight, I suppose all rational beings would take this seriously, and plan accordingly, even if it is all a wee bit grim.
