Cashless Society: Bank on Chaos! By James Reed

Forget about the New World Order argument, the main one for the moment in the cashless society issue. Let us suppose that everything is a bowl of cherries. What happens when cards fail? Like this:

“EFTPOS payments systems appear to be down at Coles supermarkets across across Australia, leaving Friday afternoon shoppers unable to pay at the checkout. Numerous customers trying to stock up on groceries for the weekend have turned to social media to express their frustration, as some reported being turned away. 'Just stopped at Coles people out front saying all Coles stores in Australia closed due to it issues. Wow!' one shopper wrote on Twitter. 'Every Coles in Australia has their registers server down and there’s just lines of people with trolleys. LMAO,' another posted. A customer who tried to go shopping at Byford Coles on the southern outskirts of Perth said: 'Coles is down nationwide, can't get served, everything is down. Doors are now closed.' Another shopper on the east coast of Australia in Woollongong, south of Sydney, posted pictures of shopping trolleys packed with groceries left at the checkout. 'Trolleys full of groceries left in Coles aisles and staff begin unpacking fridge perishable as registers around the nation suffer technical failures,' the woman wrote. It is understood, an IT glitch is responsible for the outage. 'Halfway through a shop and we are told that cash registers at all Coles stores are not working due to IT issues,' a woman posted to Twitter. 'They’re not sure for how long. Off to Woolies.'’

And what if Woolies and all the independent supermarkets also had a crash in a cashless society? Woolies, after all is going cashless:
  https://au.news.yahoo.com/woolworths-reveals-stores-set-to-go-completely-cashless-022718131.html

“Woolworths has revealed it will be trialling cashless payment methods in three Metro stores as most customers opt to pay with card over bank notes. Yahoo News Australia understands the new way to pay will be trialled in selected Metro stores only with it being rolled out at Rosebery in Sydney’s south, Caulfield North in Melbourne’s southeast and Yarraville in Melbourne’s inner west from October 12. With cash no longer an option, customers at these stores can pay with EFTPOS and credit card. “As more and more customers choose to pay with cards, we’re trialling all electronic payments in a small selection of Metro stores which currently see very few cash transactions,” a Woolworths spokesperson told Yahoo News Australia in a statement. “We understand cash remains an important payment option for many of our customers and it continues to be offered in all Woolworths supermarkets and the majority of our Metro stores. “We will closely monitor the feedback from our customers during this trial.”

Dramatic fall in cash payments
A Consumer Payments Survey conducted by the Reserve Bank of Australia found consumer payments made in cash fell to 37 per cent in 2016 from 69 per cent in 2007. In 2019, just 27 per cent were paying with cash while 63 per cent paid with debit or credit cards. According to the report, Australian customers continued to switch from paper-based payments like cash and cheques in favour of digital payment methods. “Many people now tap their cards, or sometimes phones, for small purchases rather than paying in cash,” the RBA report said.”

Sure, sure. And what will happen when the entire electronic house of cards collapses is that people will go without supplies, including old people and babies. I got this as an email, author unknown, but it pretty much sums up the evils of a cashless society. “Act now before it's too late and if you don’t read this to the end you're part of the ‘Convenience’ problem! A cashless society means no cash.... Zero, None!!! It doesn’t mean mostly cashless and you can still use a ‘wee bit of cash here & there’. Cashless means fully digital, fully traceable, fully controlled. I think those who support a cashless society aren’t fully aware of what they are asking for. Probably don’t care, YET.

A cashless society means:

* Your child can’t go & help the local farmer or neighbour to earn a bit of cash.
* No more cash slipped into the hands of a child from their grandparent when going on holidays.
* No more money in birthday cards.
* No more piggy banks for your child to collect pocket money & to learn about the value of earning.
* No more cash for a rainy day fund or for that something special you have been putting $10 a week away for.
* No more selling bits & pieces from your home that you no longer want/need for a bit of cash in return. (no garage sales)
* No more cash gifts from relatives or loved ones.

What a cashless society does guarantee:

* Banks and Governments of all descriptions, have full control of every single cent YOU own.
* Every transaction you make is recorded, not for your benefit either.
* All your movements & actions are traceable, not for your benefit either.
* Access to your money can be blocked at the click of a button when/if banks and Govt need ‘clarification’ from you which could take weeks, a hundred questions answered & five hundred passwords. Get your DNA ready.
* You already have the three or more points of Identification and such controls.
* If your transactions are deemed in any way questionable, by those who create the questions, your money will be frozen, ‘for your own good’.
* Try getting ANYTHING in this country, with a credit card, if the Internet is down or the Power is off. Not going to happen Jan !

Don’t go shooting the messenger … I’m sharing it because maybe we all need to take off our blinkers. Forget about cash being dirty. Cash has been around for a very, very long time & it gives you control over how you trade with the world. It gives you independence. The huge companies, Governments and rich class, don’t want you having ANY control over YOUR money. They want TOTAL control. They can then engineer more money and power for themselves. If you are a customer, pay with cash or go elsewhere. If you are a shop owner, remove those ridiculous signs that ask people to pay by card. Nothing to do with Corona Virus, it’s an agenda to remove cash and your control, everything else in the shop is just as dirty with the virus as well. Cash is a legal tender; it is our right to pay with cash. Banks are making it increasingly difficult to lodge cash & that has nothing to do with a virus. What is NOT being discussed is the stealth move by Governments, Councils and others powerful companies, to forcibly deduct, without your authorisation, from your bank balance any debt they deem necessary, without your ability to check and verify the content. “Just click here and we will automatically collect your subscription. We won’t even bother to advise you, we will just take it”. If their account or claim is incorrect, YOU will have to prove it before any refunds are possible, taking ridiculous amounts of time and effort. Add in the withdrawal of your ability to manage your own money and finances. Please stop believing everything you hear on the TV. Almost every single topic in today’s world is tainted with corruption & hidden agendas. Politics & greed is what is wrong with the world; not those who are trying to alert you to the reality. The media is NOT your friend in most instances. Just a business making huge amounts of money indoctrinating the masses for agendas that suit them. Please pay with cash & please say NO to a cashless society while you still have a choice. Don’t trade your Right to control your own life for CONVENIENCE !!!!”

We must fight to oppose the creation of the cashless society, one essential step toward the totalitarian New World Order.
