Brown Snakes Do Do It You Know! By John Steele

     An Aussie guy in his truck was confronted by a brown snake that attacked him in his car. He ended up speeding, and was pulled over by cops. They were surprised that he had a snake tale to tell, and it was such a good Aussie yarn that he got off his speeding fine. And he did not get bitten either. This is known as an Australian fairy tale. The brown snakes out here with me in the scrub often have breakfast with me, sometimes making me French toast, sometimes I make it for them. We sit around the camp fire having a steaming hot cup of billy brewed tea, and tell each other bush tales in hissing voices.
