Blame Narcissist Trump! By Charles Taylor (Florida)

There is a growing debate, something which should have happened long ago about the liability of Donald Trump. His key endorsed candidates crashed and burned, such as the Turkish Dr Oz, who seemed to be more a Democrat than anything else. According to some media reports, Trump is blaming his wife for convincing him to endorse OZ. That may or may not be true; I tend to think true, as it fits Trump’s narcissistic personality, of not accepting any fault in himself. Ironically, Trump has never come out and condemned the role his son-in-law Jared  played in his downfall, or how Bill Gates convinced him  not to investigate the vaxxes. Trump’s Operation Warp Speed, which fast-tracked the Covid vaxxes was a disaster, and in reality, it is Trump who needs to be number one on any Nuremberg 2.0 trial. Big Pharma did what any corporation would do for its shareholders, but Trump permitted the fast tracking. If he said “no,” Big Pharma would have followed that rule, so I do not demonise them, over the political technocrats.

If the claims are right about Trump blaming his wife, and we know he is beginning an attack upon DeSantis’ success, then it shows what an insecure little man he is. The best thing that could happen now is for the Deep State to imprison him, after a fair trial of course. Go out as a political martyr.

“Conservative writer Marc Thiessen implored the Republican Party to engage in deep introspection after failing to deliver the promised "red wave."

In a political environment unfavorable to Democrats, how could Republicans not decisively win nationwide, especially when they are generally on the favorable side of important issues like the economy and crime?

The result, according to Thiessen, is a "searing indictment" of the Republican Party.

"We had the worst inflation in four decades, the worst collapse in real wages in 40 years, the worst crime wave since the 1990s, the worst border crisis in U.S. history. We have Joe Biden, who is the least popular president since Harry Truman — since presidential polling happened — and there wasn’t a red wave," the Fox News contributor said late Tuesday.

"That is a searing indictment of the Republican Party," he continued. "That is a searing indictment of the message that we have been sending to the voters. They’ve looked at all of that, and looked at Republican alternative, and said no thanks."

Given the disappointing results, Thiessen said the GOP "needs to do a really deep introspection look in the mirror right now" to understand the "absolute disaster" of an election cycle.

Although he did not mention former President Donald Trump by name, Thiessen said the Republican Party needs to look to Republicans like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, and Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp as the future of the GOP.

Election Day seems to have proven Thiessen correct.

For instance, Kemp won reelection by 7.5%. But Republican Herschel Walker, whom Trump endorsed, trails incumbent Democrat Raphael Warnock by nearly 1%. In Ohio, DeWine won by more than 25%, but Trump-endorsed Republican J.D. Vance won by less than 7%.

This proves that many people — likely independent voters — supported proven Republican leaders but refused to support Trump-endorsed candidates.

Meanwhile, Florida has become a deep red state under DeSantis, who has proven yet again that he can win support from groups of voters Republicans have historically struggled with.”

“Former President Donald Trump reportedly was “furious” Wednesday morning about Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz’s loss in the crucial Pennsylvania Senate race, and was blaming those in his circle — including wife Melania — for urging him to support the now-failed candidate.

New York Times reporter and author Maggie Haberman tweeted the stunning claim, reporting that the 45th president had described his wife’s backing of Oz as “not her best decision.”

“Worth remembering that Trump is a grown man who endorsed Oz over the objection of some of the people closest to him, and instead went beyond just endorsing and attacked [Republican primary candidate] Dave McCormick from the stage at a rally,” Haberman added.

Haberman’s tweet backed an initial report by CNN host Jim Acosta, the network’s White House correspondent during the Trump administration who memorably clashed with the former president on more than one occasion.

“‘Trump is livid’ and ‘screaming at everyone,’ after last night’s disappointing midterm results for GOP, according to a Trump adviser,” Acosta tweeted. “The adviser went on to slam the former president’s handpicked contenders: ‘they were all bad candidates.’ ‘Candidates matter,’ the adviser said.”

Oz conceded his race to Pennsylvania to Lt. Gov. John Fetterman early Wednesday, handing Democrats a crucial pickup in the battle for the Senate.

GOP Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano also lost after Trump stumped for the Republican outside Pittsburgh over the weekend.

“We have tens of thousands of people here,” Trump said at the Saturday rally. “If these people vote for you, Doug, and if they vote for you, Oz, you can’t lose. We can’t lose.”

The Pennsylvania races were among several that Trump-backed candidates lost on Election Day, including high-profile gubernatorial races in Michigan and Wisconsin. The former president was “fuming” at his Mar-a-Lago estate as results rolled in Tuesday night showing the predicted “red wave” was more of a ripple, ABC News reported.

In Michigan, Republican gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon lost to Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer by more than 468,000 votes, while Wisconsin Republican Tim Michels lost the governor’s race to incumbent Gov. Tony Evers by more than 89,000 votes

Still, the former president early Wednesday claimed Tuesday was “A GREAT EVENING” for Republicans in a TruthSocial post, claiming that the Democrats were “doing everything possible to play it down.”

“Amazing job by some really fantastic candidates!” Trump said.

Ohio Senate candidate J.D. Vance was the highest-profile Trump-backed candidate to pull off a win so far. The “Hillbilly Elegy” author had defeated Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan by about 6.6% of the vote as of 11:45 a.m. Wednesday with 97% of precincts reporting.

Trump’s pick for North Carolina’s Senate seat, Republican Ted Budd, also won his race, beating Democrat Cheri Beasley 50.7% to 47.1% as of 2 p.m. Wednesday

Races for other Trump picks had yet to be called as of Wednesday, with the race between Georgia Republican Herschel Walker and Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock heading to a Dec. 6 runoff after neither candidate received at least 50% of the vote.”

The threat made by Trump seems like blackmail, and maybe DeSantis might try a criminal law solution. But most likely it is more bs thrown by Trump. He shows himself as a nasty pasty indeed, attacking a fellow patriot, no doubt out of jealousy.

“Former President Donald Trump (R) launched another attack against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) before polls closed on Tuesday evening, threatening to release what he claims is damaging information on DeSantis should the governor run for president in 2024.

The Wall Street Journal and Fox News noted Trump’s remarks in reports published Tuesday afternoon. Trump made the remarks while flying back to Florida Monday evening after hosting a rally in Ohio.

Trump claimed that there was no “tiff” with DeSantis after he mocked the governor over the weekend, calling him “Ron DeSanctimonious” and using old poll numbers showing that he had a lead on DeSantis in a 2024 presidential primary.

“I don’t know if he is running. I think if he runs, he could hurt himself very badly,” Trump said. “I really believe he could hurt himself badly. I think he would be making a mistake, I think the base would not like it — I don’t think it would be good for the party.”

“If he runs, he runs,” Trump continued. “I would tell you things about him that won’t be very flattering — I know more about him than anybody — other than, perhaps, his wife.”

The attacks from Trump on DeSantis come after one of Trump’s lawyers, Alina Habba, also took shots at the governor this week, saying that he “needs to stay in Florida” and that “DeSantis is DeSantis because of Trump.” She also claimed that DeSantis was not polished enough to be president, saying, “He’s not ready yet.”

However, when he was asked by reporters on Tuesday if he voted for DeSantis for governor, Trump responded, “Yes, I did.”
