Biden Wants Even More Censorship! By Charles Taylor (Florida)
Things are heating up for the runup to the US 2024 elections, where the fate of the West will finally be decided. Without a new plandemic, allowing the Democrat fraud of mail-in votes, there might be a faint chance that Donald Trump could be elected again, and this time, after getting his nose bloodied, may actually do something if Jared and daughter are not put back in the team to neutralise him. Thus, the Deep State has pulled out all stakes, and has indicted Trump on the box gate scam, that Trump had classified documents, the same things that Biden had in his garage. Of course, the case is weak, since a president can effortlessly declassify such documents. But that is not the issue; the idea is to throw enough mud so some sticks and the masses get scared, and vote for the tyrant that they have at present.
Not content with that though, the Biden regime is moving to a whole new level of suppression of free speech, moving for social media to control the information put out by their opponents, as it did in the 2020 election. It is amazing how quick the United States became a Third World cesspool. There is a lesson here for other nations, such as Australia, who with the Voice referendum, are heading down our same path.
“President Joe Biden wants to dictate censorship policies to social media companies because he and the Democratic Party still can’t quit their desire to censor speech they don’t like as “disinformation.”
The latest instance of this comes regarding YouTube, which said that it would stop removing videos that contain “content that advances false claims that widespread fraud, errors, or glitches occurred in the 2020 and other past US Presidential elections.” The company rationally noted that the policy was “curtailing political speech without meaningfully reducing the risk of violence or other real-world harm.”
According to Biden’s campaign, “YouTube's reckless and irresponsible decision will invite further democratic decay and potential violence, and we urge them to reconsider this policy.” YouTube is going to get people killed, if Biden is to be believed. That is not an exaggeration of what he thinks: Biden outright said that social media companies were “killing people” for hosting COVID-19 “misinformation.”
Of course, much of that COVID “misinformation” turned out to be accurate. Most masks were not very effective at preventing COVID. Vaccines did not prevent people from being infected with COVID, a falsehood that Biden himself had asserted . For children, mask mandates, vaccine mandates, and school restrictions were never grounded in science because children were never at serious risk of COVID. But Biden was never the target of censorship, only those who strayed from his anti-science, pro-hysteria narratives.
The same is true for elections. Voter fraud does exist, though not on the scale that former President Donald Trump or other GOP losers claim. Similarly, false election claims exist on the opposite end of the political spectrum, with several Democrats claiming that Stacey Abrams had the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election “stolen” from her. False Democratic claims about “voter suppression” also “invite further democratic decay and potential violence,” but Biden doesn’t want those censored because he agrees with the people repeating them.
On top of this all, Biden funded the Global Disinformation Index that blacklisted conservative media, pressured social media outlets to censor information on Twitter, and attempted to form a “Disinformation Governance Board” run by a liberal partisan who dismissed the New York Post’s accurate reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop as disinformation. He and his administration are openly hostile to free speech and routinely demand censorship of his political opponents under the guise of “misinformation,” a label that is never applied to Democrats.
Biden no doubt thinks that the social media censorship of the New York Post ahead of the 2020 election helped him win, and he wants to recreate that. His authoritarian impulse to promote censorship at every turn is yet another piece of evidence that he is unfit to serve as president and that everyone in his administration who is committed to the “disinformation” and “misinformation” fight should be nowhere near any lever of political power.”
