Australian Immigration is Out of Control By James Reed
Uncle Dick Smith has come out swinging again on immigration:

“Millionaire entrepreneur Dick Smith has slammed the Turnbull Government for pushing high immigration as two former prime ministers regret allowing unprecedented population growth. The 74-year-old electronics chain founder from Sydney’s North Shore made the call as former PM John Howard backed his Liberal successor Tony Abbott’s call to cut immigration. ‘I can’t for the life of me see why we can’t have a sensible debate about the level of immigration,’ Mr Howard told The Australian. ‘I’d like to hear the debate. I really would."
Well he would say that wouldn’t he, after laying the foundation for the displacement of Traditional Australia, as documented here:

Dick Smith also said: ‘The top one per cent wealthiest Australians have the equivalent wealth of the bottom 70 per cent.’ ‘In history, that’s normally when you get a revolution.’ Stranger things have happened, I suppose. Miracles, perhaps. Part of the problem is the creation of the nanny state, which has taken away the fight from people. This article argues that the welfare state takes on the role of traditional religious entities:

“An exchange model of religion implies that if a secular entity such as government provides what people need, they will be less likely to seek help from supernatural entities. Controlling for quality of life and income inequality (Gini), we found that better government services were related to lower religiosity among countries (Study 1) and states in the United States (Study 2). Study 2 also showed that during 2008-2013, better government services in a specific year predicted lower religiosity 1 to 2 years later. In both studies, a combination of better government services and quality of life was related to a particularly low level of religiosity. Among countries, government services moderated the relation between religiosity and two measures of well-being, such that religiosity was related to greater well-being only when government services were low. We discuss the relation between the exchange model and other theoretical approaches to religion.”
When the state begins to crack, expect a massive backlash against it, anger at those taking away the welfare goodies. While the title of this article is grim, there are things the reader can do which are safe and easy regardless of age. Spread the good word about the Reduce Immigration Write on campaign to deliver a stinging message to government. There does seem to be some awakening at the 11th hour, so keep up the pace:
