Are Lockdowns Saving Lives, Or Destroying Them, or Both? By Brian Simpson
There is an excellent discussion of this question at the Organicprepper.com, a site I do not usually look at, but John Steele referred me to.

There is a video linked at the above site of a young Aussie girl, Melbourne Photographer: Carly Söderström, who gives the strong and emotionally moving case against lockdowns, which have destroyed her business, and threatened her with bankruptcy. Even someone as cold, dark and emotionless like me, had a few tears when she stated crying at the end, as she broke down. And that great lover of free speech, Facebook, took it down, for our protection, no doubt! Yes, the system is threatened by one heart-broken lady!
“A Victorian photographer who went viral with a video of her despair after being plunged into lockdown for a fifth time has pleaded with the government to consider an alternative route to shutting down Australia's major cities.
Carly Soderstrom, from Torquay, has spent almost 11 of the past 18 months in lockdown.
Ms Soderstrom said she and many others had been pushed to breaking point by the constant lockdowns imposed due to COVID-19.
"I know three people who have committed suicide, four people who have lost their homes, across the country people are losing their businesses," Ms Soderstrom told Weekend Today.
"At what point of the suffering will we start to have the conversation to start to extend compassion."
Ms Soderstrom said she was not a COVID-19 skeptic by any means.”
Surely one of the best speeches I have heard in a long time, by someone facing destruction: “The lockdowns are killing people.” And, speaking of those whose profession could, in certain circumstances involve that:
“NSW is bracing for another rise in Covid-19 cases today after a record rise yesterday and a state of emergency being declared.
Amid the concerning case numbers, the state's lockdown is set to remain until mass vaccination, and the government is considering military assistance to stop the Delta strain spread.
According to a source quoted by the Daily Telegraph, troops may be brought in to guard barriers set up around Sydney as the government works to "harden the lockdown" and ensure safe travel out of "hot zones".
Premier Gladys Berejiklian yesterday confirmed there were 136 new Covid-19 cases detected in the state and announced new restrictions.
Two local government areas in Sydney's west will be locked out from the rest of the city.
Residents of Cumberland Shire and Blacktown will be prohibited from leaving their suburbs unless they are health or emergency workers, or are otherwise deemed "essential".
NSW Health today issued 46 new alerts for venues potentially exposed to coronavirus, and authorities also warned anyone in the Southern Highlands to watch for symptoms after a positive wastewater detection.
Fragments of the virus were detected at a sewage treatment plant at Moss Vale.
"There are no known cases in this area, which is of great concern," a spokeswoman said.”
It is pretty exciting to think that Aussie troops will be guarding, whatever. It will be good for the troops as a training exercise before they get to face the Chinese army when World War III breaks out, and as former major general of the Australian Army and current Liberal senator Jim Molan, has said, the ADF will get wiped out in a couple of days. So treat our boys and girls and transgendered folk, if any, with respect because they are going to die defending us.
