America Falls from Democratic Grace By Richard Miller (London)

I can tell you personally, that America is a bit on the nose here. Everyone I know thinks that the election was stolen, even those who dislike Trump, like me. This sentiment is reflected in a recent survey, where in over 16 nations and regions, not a single one believed that the United States is a good example of democracy. On this, they are correct:

“A new survey spanning 16 nations and regions, most of them U.S. allies, has shown the country's global image rebounded after President Joe Biden succeeded former President Donald Trump, but not a single country believed the United States any longer constitutes a good example for democracy.

The Pew Research Center published on Thursday the results of its Spring 2021 Global Attitudes Survey, the first of its kind since Biden took office in January. It was a historically rocky transition of power that unseated a U.S. leader whose tenure was marked by a sharp decline in international confidence in U.S. leadership.

And while some of this trust has recovered in the few months of Biden's White House, there remained a prevailing attitude that "democracy in the U.S. used to be a good example, but has not been in recent years."

In neighboring Canada, some 69% felt this way, compared with 14% who felt that the "democracy in the U.S. is a good example for other countries to follow," and another 14% that it "has never been a good example for other countries."

These opinions echoed across the Atlantic to Europe, where the sentiment that the U.S. today is not a model democracy was held by 57% in the Netherlands, 56% in Sweden and the United Kingdom, 54% in Germany, Belgium and Spain, 53% in France, 49% in Italy and 45% in Greece, where, as in France and Germany, 27%—the highest response recorded—felt the U.S. had never served as a democratic model.”

This is all water, dirty water, off a duck’s back, as the Democrats are openly championing the rise of Chinese communism, and they would be happy to be willing servants to that system, rejoicing in a non-white power overlording them, in a weird kind of ethno-masochism, and political eroticism, and all sorts of other perverse Leftist cool-aid drinking.
