A Racist War on White Babies, By Mrs Abigail Knight (Florida)

"A Racist War Against White Babies," by John Klar argues that Critical Race Theory (CRT) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives are fundamentally flawed and racist. It claims CRT asserts all White people are inherently racist and responsible for oppressing Black people, dismissing other factors like family structure or culture as explanations for racial disparities. Scholars like Ibram Kendi are criticised for denying racism against Whites is possible and for promoting discrimination against Whites as a remedy for past discrimination.

DEI is portrayed as falsely claiming diversity is always beneficial, redefining "inclusion" as excluding whites, and pushing "equity" (equal outcomes) over equality of opportunity, which the author sees as contrary to Martin Luther King Jr.'s vision. This ideology, dubbed "woke racism" or "Race Marxism," is said to undermine merit-based systems like IQ tests and SATs, labelling them racist.

The article cites Black scholars like Thomas Sowell, John McWhorter, and Coleman Hughes, who criticise CRT and DEI as fostering resentment and racial strife rather than equality. Hughes, in particular, warns that pursuing "equity" through discriminatory policies will provoke a backlash from Whites, mirroring historical Black grievances, leading to endless conflict. James Lindsay's work traces CRT to Marxist roots, suggesting it aims for a "Dictatorship of the Antiracists" and "race-centered communism."

Klar points to Vermont as an example, alleging DEI policies favour Black and Hispanic residents over struggling White natives in areas like WIC benefits, despite the state's overwhelmingly White population and abolitionist history. This, they argue, reflects a broader callousness in DEI governance that ignores White suffering while focusing solely on "racial inequities" for minorities.

Ultimately, the piece frames CRT and DEI as a "new eugenics movement" that fuels division, citing the rise of groups like the Proud Boys as evidence of a predicted backlash. It calls for a return to merit and equality, praising Trump's ban on CRT in government as a step toward combating racism for all.

"President Donald Trump's halt of federal support for DEI initiatives seeded howls of derision and ranting by far-left supporters of what is genuinely a race-based, and thus racist, inversion of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s iconic call to value and reward people based solely on their merit and not their skin color. Critical Race Theory and "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion" (DEI) have already fueled roiling radical racism not seen since the 1960s Civil Rights movement. These related ideological "theories" are proven toxic policy failures.

The fundamental tenet of CRT is that all white people are subjectively racist and prejudiced – even if they don't know it. The English phrase "white supremacist" transformed linguistically overnight to mean, under CRT, "white people." All white people are at fault for oppressing all black people, and the sole explanation for racial disparities, Americans are told, is not fatherless homes or ghetto culture but whitey oppressing the "marginalized."

Per race profiteer Ibram Kendi, there can be no racism against whites because they are the oppressor class, and Jews (who generally succeed more than most whites) are not the meritorious product of close-knit families and a culture that values hard work and intellectual excellence. Neither are they the victims of prejudice (thanks, scholar Whoopi Goldberg), but the ultimate opportunistic elites – if there was anti-Semitism in America, how could Jews' relative economic and societal success otherwise be explained by Race Theory?

DEI has been equally pernicious, falsely claiming that diversity is always beneficial (try filling suburban daycare centers or replacing educated white teachers with Crips and 20 Luvs, and see how that works out – not all BIPOCS are the same). "Inclusion" means excluding white people. Kendi again: "The antidote to past discrimination [against blacks] is future discrimination [against whites]" (though whites can't be the victims of discrimination under CRT, so let's just ignore that minor faux pas).

"Equity" is definitionally opposed to the "equality" of the Equal Protection Clause and the mission of Martin Luther King's marches. IQ tests, SATs, school discipline, math – anything that measures merit is now racist, per the vaunted DEI ideology. Naturally enough, white people being disadvantaged begin to find themselves objectively, not subjectively, racist. Black Americans find themselves being looked at curiously – are they qualified and competent to do their job, or did they get a race-based leg up because the woke white man wanted to show his virtuous opposition to the never-proven "systemic racism" bogeyman?

Small wonder that blacks and Hispanics led the Donald Trump vote shift to reverse this new eugenics movement (as Thomas Sowell calls it), and which the erudite John McWhorter calls "woke racism." (Wait, I called McWhorter "erudite" – was that a "microaggression"? It's challenging for us whiteys to follow all the new skin-color rules….) Other erudite voices of warning came from Dr. Carol Swain and Christopher J. Schorr in Black Eye for America: How Critical Race Theory Is Burning Down the House. Mr. Schorr's published dissertation White Nationalism and its Challenge to the American Right "considers factors that risk mainstreaming white nationalist politics in the United States, including Critical Race Theory."

Dr. James Lindsay's excellent book Race Marxism: The Truth About Critical Race Theory and Praxis traces the history of Critical Race Theory to its Marxist roots, warning:

Critical Race Theory is Race Marxism, and its long-term objective for itself is race-centered communism.

Critical Race Theory exists to privilege those who adopt its consciousness and discriminate vigorously against those who don't. Its purpose in doing this is to create conditions such that it can instantiate a Dictatorship of the Antiracists — a racial reimagining of Marx's Dictatorship of the Proletariat — that will force us through a transitional phase of "racial equity" (Race Socialism) to be followed, by Marxian-Hegelian alchemy, by "racial justice" (Race Communism). It does not know how this will be achieved in specific but believes with adamant religious fundamentalism that it will be achieved if they are given sufficient power and can force enough people to believe it (or pretend they do in the service of their own hides).

I'm going to call another black scholar erudite as well, as a compliment: Coleman Hughes. I watched Mr. Hughes on The View, where he was eminently patient and civil with race-grifter Whoopi and the disgustingly shameless Sunny Hostin (both highly overpaid multi-millionaires in the white man's patriarchy). The exchange proves McWhorter's point that a racist hate cult brainwashes these ladies. Heaven's Gate and Jonestown are shadows compared to the damage inflicted on American race relations by DEI and CRT.

Coleman's argument that equality of opportunity is superior to equity (equality of outcome, aka communism) fell on ears deafened to logic on The View, but his book The End of Race Politics is excellent:

"Neoracists imagine that if we enact discriminatory policies for long enough we will finally balance the scales of history. We will be able to undo the past, give back to blacks what was taken from them for hundreds of years, and reach a state of racial "equity." But this is a dangerous fantasy.

"Our nation's history shows us what will happen if we follow neoracists: we'll get an ethnically white core of the country that is every bit as angry and aggrieved about neoracist policies …as black Americans were about segregation and redlining. And just as the black American grievances were true and real, so will the white grievances be."

"Good," say openly racist blacks (who cannot be guilty of discrimination against whites, we are theoretically told). Hughes responds: "The neoracist pursuit of false equity results in a war of all against all. Instead of realizing the dream of true racial equality, we'll realize a nightmare of endless racial strife." Are the Proud Boys and Patriot Front not ascendant exactly as Hughes and Christopher J. Schorr predicted, even as the woke crowd (that fuels their membership) points to them as proof of white supremacy?

All Americans will suffer if the DEI cult is not treated with the chemotherapy such cancerous hatred merits: the cure is the American aspiration toward merit and equality championed by Martin Luther King, Jr. and trashed by white elitists such as Robin DiAngelo. The Biden administration imposed a "whole-of-government" experimentation with this untested racist theory, and the results are as toxic and backward as predicted by Sowell, McWhorter, Lindsay, and Hughes. (James Lindsay is a brave and extremely intelligent patriot. I sweeyened him up with some Vermont maple syrup!)

Vermont's woke Green Mountains are proof. Black carpetbagging millionaires can move to Vermont and open cannabis stores in blatant racial preference to struggling white intergenerational natives of low income with mouths to feed. How could any white person resent such "equity," unless to prove their subjective racism by objecting? Vermont is a testing ground for this new eugenics racism, an odd place given its prominence in the Abolitionist Movement and the Civil War, having banned slavery as part of its statehood, giving blacks the right to vote 150 years before the nation.

Statistics on Vermont's Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program displays woke racist DEI policy in real-time action – against white babies and white mothers-to-be. The fact sheet reveals that Vermont provides WIC benefits to 100% of eligible Hispanic residents, 93% to blacks, but only 67% of eligible whites. Beside the bar chart displaying these findings is the woke federal government's DEI-stained conclusion:

"Nationally, eligible Black and Hispanic people and other people of color are more likely to participate in WIC than white people, but many are missing out on WIC. Reaching more people of color could do more to mitigate racial inequities in pregnancy-related and infant health outcomes."

Not a word about the racially disproportionate numbers of malnourished white children, or maternal mortality in white Vermont women – despite Vermont being more than 92% white. Hunger, starvation, and diseases caused by malnutrition are colorblind. Some "people of color" (once upon a time called "colored people," but that was racist!) may applaud starving white Vermont descendants of Union soldiers, but as Hughes points out, all of society suffers the resulting effects, including crime, medical expenses, lost incomes, racial strife, and intergenerational trauma.

Is there that much callousness and cluelessness in DEI governance that this glaring imbalance of WIC payments for white Vermont families is simply ignored in favor of the race mantra of "mitigating racial inequities" for blacks only?

The evidence of the doomed future for DEI and CRT abounds. President Trump was right to ban it in government, to combat racism for all people."
