The Special Counsel investigating Joe Biden's alleged breach involving classified material has concluded that no charges will be brought against the president. The reason given is: "We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory."
"Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt. It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him — by then a former president well into his eighties — of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness."
This is a president who claims to have spoken recently with political figures who died years ago. Thus, Biden is not mentally competent to face charges. So, why is he competent to be president? No doubt it serves the interests of the elites to have a senile president who does everything they say, as most will gladly do anyway. Jump? Yes, how high?
"Special counsel Robert Hur on Thursday released a 388-page report on President Biden's retention of classified material, finding the president frequently showed limitations with his memory and recall.
While the report concluded no charges should be brought against the president, its language describing Biden, 81, is likely to be campaign fodder for Republicans who have repeatedly raised questions about the president's ability to serve.
Some of the language came off looking like a gift to Trump's presidential campaign.
In opting not to bring charges, Hur, who was appointed by former President Trump to serve as U.S. attorney for the District of Maryland in 2017, cited the shortage of evidence, but also how Biden would present himself to a jury.
"We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory," Hur wrote.
"Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt. The report on more than one occasion refers to Biden struggling to remember things when he spoke to a ghostwriter for his memoir, as well as when he was speaking to investigators.
Hur cited Biden's 2017 conversations with ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer, which Hur described as "painfully slow, with Mr. Biden struggling to remember events and straining at times to read and relay his own notebook entries."
"In his interview with our office, Mr. Biden's memory was worse," Hur wrote.
A pro-Trump super PAC quickly made use of the report.
"If you're too senile to stand trial, then you're too senile to be president. Joe Biden is unfit to lead this nation," Alex Pfeiffer, communications director for the pro-Trump super PAC Make America Great Again Inc., said in a statement."
"This time Biden claimed that he had fairly recently spoken with former German Chancellor Helmet Kohl about the events of January 6th 2021 at the US Capitol .
Speaking at a fundraiser in New York on Wednesday, Biden stated "And then Helmut Kohl turned to me and said, 'What would you say, Mr. President, if you picked up the London Times and learned that 1,000 people had broken down the doors of the British parliament, killed some bobbies on the way in, to deny the prime minister to take office."
Helmet Kohl was the German chancellor between 1984 to 1989 and, more importantly, has been dead since 2017."
