Mrs Vera West’s latest “beef,” is that we remain in the mess that we are in because of a decline in manhood, and manhood has declined because of falling testosterone levels and sperm counts as well: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/active/mens-health/10695991/Why-are-mens-sperm-rates-falling.html.
There is no doubt that there is great concern about the loss of manhood – even from certain leading feminist figures! Camille Paglia, an “Amazon feminist,” is quoted as expressing concern in a Wall Street Journal article, “Camille Paglia: A Feminist Defense of Masculine Virtues” (December 28, 2013) at http://www.wsj.com/articles/SB10001424052702303997604579240022857012920.
The devaluing of manual labour and the military and the denying of biological differences between men and women is “undermining Western civilization,” “What you’re seeing is how a civilization commits suicide.” This is from the feminist academic who early in her career in her PhD thesis Sexual Personae said: “If civilization had been left in female hands, we would still be living in grass huts.”
She is also quoted as saying: “Masculinity is just becoming something that is imitated from the movies. There’s nothing left. There’s no room for anything manly right now.”
In another article Paglia is quoted as saying that the rise of transgenderism is a symptom of the West’s cultural decline: “Nothing… better defines the decadence of the West to the jihadists than our toleration of open homosexuality and this transgender mania now”:

Increasing T levels would certainly help in the recovery of manhood, even for older men, but it is younger men who really need this. And it is preferable to do this naturally, rather than dabble with drugs, legal or otherwise.
One book detailing what could be done is Lou Schuler The Testosterone Advantage Plan (Rodale, 2002). Although it’s getting a bit old now, more recent articles follow the basic idea of diet and exercise. The T-diet is equal proportions of fats, protein and carbohydrate and carbohydrate should come not from grains such as rice, or even much fruit, such as bananas, but from vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage, which are anti-cancer, help the prostate and help keep oestrogens lower. Low fat, high grain/sugar diets typically produce a range of metabolic problems in men and people generally: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2220173/People-eat-high-carbohydrate-diets-times-likely-develop-mild-cognitive-impairment--precursor-Alzheimer-s-disease.html.
There is a good reason why the strongmen of the past, men of iron such as Arthur Saxon, drank down raw eggs, and thrived on it. Go for lean meats and avoid the nitrates in foods like processed meats such as bacon. In other words, an organic Palaeo diet of meat and vegies – the “boring” Anglo Saxon diet ridiculed by the multicults who love their high GI grains, like pasta and white rice – is the thing.
T-levels are boosted by lifting heavy weights, relative to your level. A gentle walk with the dog is fine for an old man, but young men (and even men in their 50s and 60s) can benefit from weight training. Weight training – progressive resistance, lifting over time heavier weights, more times – also increases the release of growth hormone. But, disclaimer, anyone starting any exercise regime needs to get a medical check-up first.
A barbell and pilates is all one needs, but one can train using bags of rocks, boulders, logs and any weight really. That’s what I do here in the scrub, living in my tent. One of the clear merits of obtaining greater strength is the development of self-confidence and natural aggression which is lacking from the girlie young men of today.
Maybe, if enough men can regain their manhood, the West can be saved: http://www.artofmanliness.com/2013/01/18how-to-increase-testosterone-naturally/.
