But nothing new here; it is standard operating procedure. Likewise for the present storm in a teacup about Kamala Harris' plagiarism of various sources. This comes from the book she co-authored with Joan O'C Hamilton, entitled Smart on Crime: A Career Prosecutor's Plan to Make Us Safer (Chronicle Books, 2010). The book helped to establish her career on criminal-justice. Only problem here is that large sections of the book were stolen from other sources, with no acknowledgement. Certainly, if Harris was an academic, she would be in deep trouble for this. But she is about to become puppet New World Order US president. While the academics are worried about this, it will disappear as a story by tomorrow.
