The Moral Bankruptcy of Big Pharma, By Brian Simpson

I received this quote in an email, without a source, but it is great one, concisely summing up the entire case against Big Pharma. I have printed this out, and keep a paper copy on my desk to remind me of what our movement is fighting for.

"Big pharmaceutical corporations are deeply flawed and morally bankrupt. It is more than their relentless pursuit of profit; what has been exposed is pure evil. The pharmaceutical industry's influence over policymakers, insidious marketing practices, and suppression of cheaper, more effective alternatives have wrought havoc on public health, with needless loss of lives and livelihoods. I know it, you know it, and pretty much the whole world knows that it is time for an unequivocal call to end the reign of Big Pharma. We must dismantle this profit-driven behemoth, prioritize the well-being of people over corporate interests, and establish a healthcare system that ensures affordable, accessible, ethical healthcare for all. The time for radical reform is now. We can no longer tolerate the injustice perpetrated by these corporate giants."I received this quote in an email, without a source, but it is great one, concisely summing up the entire case against Big Pharma.
