The issue of conscription is being discussed here in Europe, and I have seen mention of this in the Australian press as well. In the US, the idea has been floated of putting the illegals into the military to boost up numbers now that Whites are not recruiting because of the anti-white racism of the woke, transgender military. But, why should illegals do this, when now, they can get everything their hearts desire by just pouring across the border and invading? And what sort of an army would it be to have generally low IQ people who invaded a country, as soldiers? So, scratch the illegal immigrant army idea.
Hence conscription is back on the menus. Latvia has reintroduced compulsory military service in preparation for a NATO war with Russia. And as for the UK, as noted in the extract below, top elites are now pushing for conscription too:
"General Sir Patrick Sanders, the outgoing Chief of the General Staff for the British Army, said that Britain should 'train and equip' a 'citizen army' to prepare the country for war on land. And even then, he said it would be 'not enough' as he pointed to allies in eastern and northern Europe 'laying the foundations for national mobilisation'. It came after Defence Secretary Grant Shapps said the world was 'moving from a post-war to pre-war world' and the UK must ensure its 'entire defence ecosystem is ready' to defend its homeland - as he warned Britain and allies must increase military spending. Professor Anthony Glees, a security and intelligence expert at the University of Buckingham, later agreed with calls made to prepare citizens for the outbreak of all-out war with Russia - including the potential for conscription."
It is going to be interesting to see how the system thinks they can beat into shape the young generation, brought up on junk food, and junk social media. My guess is that this generation will resist even more strongly than the boomers did to the draft in the Vietnam War, and now the influence of the Left is such that it is the ruling ideology of society. Russia and China wars will be against Leftist ideology, so expect some fireworks here.
But, at the end of the day, modern war is just about the killing and culling of White populations, to be replaced by immigrants, often from the enemy countries, so I image that purpose would be served by simply tossing White males into enemy fire, prepared or not.
"Latvia has reintroduced compulsory service as the NATO state moves to deter Russia from invading the rest of Europe.
Conscription was reintroduced to the Baltic state at the beginning of January and will apply to all men aged between 18 and 27.
Each will have to complete a year of service for the country - even if they live abroad. The country hopes to eventually have 61,000 combat-ready troops split between active and reserve units.
It comes as experts warn that we should soon see the policy rolled out in Britain, as they say the UK needs to start training up a 'citizen army' to fend off aggression from Putin.
'We have reintroduced the draft... to increase the size of our active and ready reserve,' Latvia's foreign minister Krisjanis Karins told The Telegraph.
'We need to be in such a state of preparedness that Russian generals and the Russian political classes clearly see that the direction of Europe is a no-go.
'European defences are completely up to snuff, and that it's not possible to have any gains without tremendous loss, and to make sure, actually, that no gains would be feasible '
The eastern European country has already shored up its defences as it reinforced its military and reserve forces and expanded its weapon arsenal.
Anyone who refuses conscription could face being fined or imprisoned.
But people with health conditions, single parents and dual citizens who have already served abroad could be spared call ups.
Those who are conscripted will be given a monthly salary of as much as £250 and will be allowed to take a month's leave as they are housed in army barracks within professional units, where they will learn the skills needed to become soldiers.

Nato top brass fear that a ground conflict fought between Western allies and Putin's forces could happen in the next 20 years amid simmering tensions over Ukraine; but Prof Glees fears it could happen sooner.
The emeritus professor suggested the military should begin recruiting volunteers for a civilian force over the next three years – and be ready for a mandatory call up within six.
'The UK Government should plan to sign up volunteers now and over the next three years and "the whole of the nation" should prepare for conscription within six years unless Putin were defeated,' he told the Mirror.
He compared the situation now to that of 1937, two years before the outbreak of the Second World War, when conscription was also a distant notion.
The comparison was also made by Gen Sir Patrick almost two years ago in June 2022, when he said Britain was having a '1937 moment' as the West came to terms with Putin's invasion of Ukraine months before.
Former Nato deputy commander and British Army veteran General Sir Richard Shirreff further called on the military to begin 'thinking the unthinkable' and consider bringing back mandatory conscription for the first time in 60 years.
