On the Trump assassination attempt, academic historian Niall Ferguson wrote; "How did the Secret Service snipers stationed just 430 feet away not spot Crooks climbing into position on the roof, when at least one member of the public did see him and claimed that he had warned them? It is hard to think of a good explanation":https://www.thefp.com/p/niall-ferguson-trump-assassination-history. Indeed, witnesses told police at the time prior to the shooting that they had seen the shooter with his rifle getting into position, but the police did nothing:
A police officer had confronted the shooter, but rather than engage in a fire fight, backed down and the shooting commenced:
The cops simply let it all happen; they could have stopped it.
At the time the usual secret service agents were on a break time, which is mighty convenient: https://amgreatness.com/2024/07/14/why-was-trumps-dedicated-secret-service-detail-on-break-during-pa-rally/. And their snipers saw the shooter and let him have a shot at Trump:

Many blog posts have discussed the total failure of the police and secret service:

The main question in the media is how did the shooter manage to get so close, when the secret service had snipers who should have been covering all buildings: https://www.theaustralian.com.au/world/us-politics/blame-game-begins-how-did-trump-gunman-get-so-close/news-story/f590756944ea3bc9f216d85881e6d87b. Almost all mainstream media takes, from the Dissent Right as well, have been about the failure of the secret service: https://amgreatness.com/2024/07/14/erik-prince-near-trump-assassination-caused-by-malice-or-massive-incompetence-by-u-s-secret-service/The shooter was just 130 yards away and managed to get off eight aimed shots, hitting Trump, killing another person and critically wounding two more before the secret service had returned fire. Roofs where sniper could set up to fire were not covered, and indeed ordinary people observed the shooter moving position, and they attempted to alert the secret service, who did not respond. In the 2016 campaign, cops had manned all roof tops, but not this time.
After the shooting it took far too long, suspiciously long, for the secret service to cover Trump, and far too long to get him away from the scene. There were no bullet proof shields used, and if the shooter had not have been shot, he could have wiped out everyone with mass fire.
One could go on, but a clear conclusion can be reached. Niall Ferguson is right that an explanation for all of the above is hard to come by, at least one not involving a conspiracy. The authorities were either in on this with the shooter, Crooks being programmed Manchurian candidate, or he was a crazed lone wolf, encouraged to attack Trump by the inflamed rhetoric of the Democrats: https://twitter.com/JDVance1/status/1812280973628965109.
The authorities saw an opportunity to have Trump polished of, and let it go as far as they could. Secret Service as well. They were all in on it.
Either way, there is no innocent answer here, just like 9/11. Trump needs to get loyal private security: https://josephsansone.substack.com/p/trumps-courageous-response-to-shadow. And as president, make a clean sweep of all these organisations.
