Preparations are Being Made for Jailing President Trump, By Charles Taylor (Florida)

Indications are that President Trump will be found guilty in the hush money case which has been made into a trial for winning the 2016 election. And indications of where this is likely to go is that secret service agents, assigned to protect him, have met with the corrupt New York authorities to work out what the game plan will be when Trump is put behind bars. I think it would be irresistible to the Leftists not to punish anyone who has made even a token show of resistance to their dictatorial, genocidal regime.

If Trump is imprisoned, he is certain to campaign on from behind bars, although here is where the Democrats will show their true form. It is almost certain that as with Epstein, Trump's protection will be shut down just long enough for him to be murdered. There have been suggestions made by some pro-Trump social critics, that Trump go back to Florida and not submit to prison, seeking DeSantis to protect him with the national guard. That would certainly put the country on the path to civil war. Probably Trump will just submit as a law-and-order conservative, even though the law part has disintegrated, and face the same fate as Epstein. As I have said, he will still become a martyr for the cause, so his death will not be in vain.

"Manhattan jurors began deliberating Wednesday in the historic hush money trial against Donald Trump. Here's what happens if he's found guilty:

Trump, 77 — the first US president to stand trial in a criminal case — faces 34 counts of falsifying business records connected to allegations he made a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election to keep her quiet about claims she had a one-night stand with a married Trump.

Each of the counts the 45th president faces comes with a maximum penalty of four years' imprisonment.

Could Trump go to prison?

In theory, though it's highly unlikely, Trump could face 136 years behind bars if convicted on all counts and given consecutive sentences.

It is far more likely that he would be given concurrent sentences for each of the 34 counts — meaning the most likely maximum he'll face is four years behind bars.

It's also possible that the judge would not sentence him to time behind bars.

It's also not clear if prosecutors in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office would seek a sentence of incarceration — given Trump's charged with a non-violent offense and hasn't been convicted of any other crimes.

Could Trump pardon himself?

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee would not be able to pardon himself of a conviction in this case if he was re-elected and became the 47th president, since it's a state case and not a federal one.

The real estate tycoon would face the same limitation if he were convicted in the Georgia election fraud case and re-elected, since that also charges him with state crimes and not federal ones.

He also faces two other criminal cases in federal court — for allegedly mishandling classified documents and for conspiring to overturn the 2020 election — for which in theory he'd be able to pardon himself.

He could order the Justice Department to the drop federal offenses he faces, but he very likely would face legal challenges to such a move.

Could Trump run for office and serve as president from behind bars?

Legal experts have said that nothing in the US Constitution would prevent Trump from running for office or even serving as president from behind bars.

There are two prior examples of individuals running for president while incarcerated, including in 1920, when socialist candidate Eugene Debs threw his hat in the ring while serving a 10-year term for sedition in a Georgia federal prison."
