First, laid up with a major leg injury from a football incident at my school, where an old guy should have known better, with time off around the house, and gripped by crushing pessimism about the stolen election 2020, and worse, the cucking and betrayal of Trump on January 6 2021, throwing his supporters under the insane leftist tanks and heavy artillery, and even worse, the disgusting cowardice of the Dissent Right and white nationalists, with a few exceptions, to denounce Trump, I started clearing out junk from my bookshelf, to make way for useful things, like homesteading books, permaculture, and survivalist doomsday literature recommended by our John Steele.
So, the first three books I intend to throw out in the rubbish are all edited by Jared Taylor, of American Renaissance. Readers will know that I have been a critic of this group for some time. At the time of writing of January 2021, I notice how not much was devoted to the Trump-apocalypse, certainly with no angry deconstructions like Ann Coulter gave. To be fair, there was some coverage, most of that relevant, with a good article on Ashli babbitt, and some scattered pieces.

However, given that Western civilisation was at stake, at least the fate of America, and everything they represent, we would have expected more. There was much more done on sites like Infowars, and even our own site with the American correspondents, Chris Knight and Charles Taylor went stronger. Of course, American Renaissance did not have the worst Dissent Right electoral response, for other sites ran a QAnon style strategy of false hope right up until Biden took the Oath of Office (three minutes early, making his office illegal, but no-one cares), and still seem to have kept this up. So, overall, I give them a pass, where other sites who once had supposedly good men, who turned upon those critical of Trump Pty Ltd, deserve horse whipping … no, that’s violence … a slap on the wrist with soggy spaghetti, with sticky tomato paste.
Anyway, let’s get the book reviews over so I can get the books out into the rubbish, which is collected today. First, Jared Taylor (editor), The Real American Dilemma: Race, Immigration, and the Future of America, (New Century Books, Oakton, 1998). That goes back a way now, and the only essay I could see relevant to today’s darkness, is the paper by Michael Hart, “Racial Partition of the United States.” Diversity, in the form of multinational states does not work. The history of the United States and the rest of the West certainly demonstrates that. But, Hart’s focus is upon Blacks, and he proposed that America should be partitioned into three: (1) an independent Black state, (2) an independent non-Black state, and (3) an integrated state. That is not of much relevance today, with other ethnic groups such as Hispanics and Asians even more dominant than Blacks. But, beyond even race, the Left, which bring it all together, has now consolidated itself as the main open threat. It shows how the problems just get deeper over time. So, toss that book in the trash, next to last night’s diner disaster remains, that even the flies are avoiding.
Next, on the pile is George McDaniel, with a foreword by Jared Taylor, A Race Against Time: Racial Heresies for the 21st Century, (New Century Foundation, Oakton, 2003). This is a collection of the conceptual/philosophical, rather than news pieces, published in American Renaissance up until the time the editor had the joyful task of selecting material for the book. This book would have been useful for a few years back in the day, but the day has passed. Obviously, material on race, crime and violence, the scams of diversity, the corruption of the press, dates. The more philosophical pieces, such as those on racial differences in morality, and the morality of survival are relevant, but still seem tame compared to the sheer crisis now faced, which goes beyond the essays in the final section by Jared Taylor. As I read these money shot pieces, there was no consideration of the existential threat posed by China, which was not as powerful then as now, but was still a rising threat to the United States, that a literature at the time did recognise, but is not discussed by Taylor. I wonder why? Instead we find statements such as that the “Japanese or Chinese build societies that are, in some respects, objectively superior to those of Europeans.” (p. 285), quickly qualified by saying that this does not matter, only that they are different. How so, since Western modernity is now, everywhere? And, if so, why then bother with all this tiresome white natter stuff, better to support the East Asians to carry on civilisation after White European destruction, even though these East Asian societies were/are based upon European technology and conceptions, and may well collapse too without the European input. Ironically, counter to Jared Taylor, Michael Levins, “Is There a Superior Race?” argues that the world of today would not be as it is if European Whites had not existed. (p. 275) Even Taylor’s beloved East Asian societies emulate the West. (p. 275) European civilisation has also been more efficient in securing the satisfaction of basic human needs, primarily through science and technology. And, we are better at fighting.
Finally, we have Taylor’s own, White Identity: Racial Consciousness in the 21st Century, (New Century Books, 2011). There was useful material here to enlighten normies, again back in the day, but as someone up on this working as an amateur journalist, outside of my day job, not much new. The first four chapters give the grim realities of White dispossession and the Great Replacement, which now under Beijing Biden will be given an injection of hyper-steroids. There are three chapters dealing with the other main US races, Blacks, Hispanics and Asians. While I expected the usual in the chapter on Asians, I was surprised to read him say that Asian are no longer the passive assimilationists, but are also moving to identity politics as their numbers and influence grows. (p. 203) As usual, Asians are said to be the group less likely to commit crimes, but this is based on arrest/conviction statistics and does not probe at any depth into the question, such as tax avoidance. (p. 204) No discussion is given of Asian crime gangs:
This material needs to be updated, of course, but overall the work is better than the previous books, but that does not say much.
Chapter 8 deals with white racial consciousness, and the situation is as desperate as it could be, with the system dispossessing Whites, something which really was mild back in 2011 compared to what we are seeing in 2021, under the insane regime. With open borders immigration, Whites in America will be a racial minority much sooner that Taylor predicts on the literature of the day, which was by 2050. It is possible that this could happen by 2030, or before. Completely open border swamping could bring it about in a few days, in principle, depending upon how soon the communist Demon-crats wanted to collapse capitalism, Camp of the Saints style. Taylor rightly concludes that: “Whites have little sense of racial solidarity and most whites strongly condemn any signs of it (p. 286), even though other ethno-racial groups burst with racial solidarity and pride, and the elites encourage it, for their agenda. Taylor’s response is to do something about mass immigration, but with the treasons of Trump, that one is lost. Thus, he also recognises, to his credit that the US will come to resemble Third World countries, something Ann Coulter took up a couple of years later in Adios America:
Taylor notes that places like Japan and China have little immigration and are not yet engaging in any Great Replacement of their populations as Euro-White countries are all doing (p. 289), although today, there is pressure upon the Japanese to take in non-Japanese migrants because of the so-called decline in births. So, when do Whites act in their group interest? We are not told by Taylor, only in conclusion that Whites need to get a racial identity or face oblivion. (p. 295) It was a long haul to get to that most unenlightened conclusion. What forces are there that are responsible for this? Who are they? That is where conservatism goes silent, and there will be no discussion at American Renaissance. I do not see any “American renaissance” under these conditions, only further decline, and fall.
