More YouTubular Censorship By James Reed

YouTube has suspended Senator Rand Paul for a week. It is just like being a high school, isn’t it? Really, I am surprised he didn’t get kicked off like Trump was. YouTube, you need to lift your game in censorship and oppression because there is some fierce competition in the tyranny stakes out there! Say, why haven’t you cancelled my YouTube bs yet? Oh, I forgot, I am not on the stupid system!

“Senator Rand Paul has been suspended on YouTube for a week. The Big Tech giant’s censorship follows two recent videos posted by Senator Paul. The first video was a Newsmax interview where Senator Paul raised suspicions about the Wuhan Institute of Virology’s role in the COVID pandemic, and questioned Dr. Anthony Fauci’s relationship with the Chinese laboratory. After that video was censored by YouTube, his second video complained about the politically motivated censorship. That is what got the Kentucky senator suspended.

Senator Paul was responding to a heated exchange with Dr. Anthony Fauci, which the NIAID Director characterized as “slanderous.” The interview with Emerald Robinson can be watched below.

“They are now banning all my speech, including speech that is given on the Senate floor, which is protected constitutional,” Senator Paul told reporters on Tuesday. “YouTube now thinks they are smart enough and godly enough that they can oversee speech, even constitutionally protected speech.”

Senator Paul recently had a viral video on Twitter that laid out brilliantly what is at stake in this country.

“We are at a moment of truth and a crossroads,” Paul said. “Will we allow these people to use fear and propaganda to do further harm to our society, economy, and children? Or will we stand together and say, absolutely not. Not this time. I choose freedom.”

YouTube is also policing criticism of mask usage among the general public, which has scant, uncertain and insignificant evidence showing that they work to curb the spread of COVID-19 or other coronavirus pandemics.

“Saying cloth masks work, when they don’t, actually risks lives, as someone may choose to care for a loved one with COVID while only wearing a cloth mask. This is not only bad advice but also potentially deadly misinformation,” Paul said.

While nations with some of the highest mask compliance rates in the world, such as Japan, South Korea, and Indonesia, are seeing massive surges in COVID cases, northern European countries like Norway, Sweden and Denmark have extremely low mask usage rates, as well as low COVID case and mortality rates.

According to YouTube, however, you’re not allowed to use even government data to show how public policies are wrong, even if the criticism comes from a sitting U.S. Senator whose job it is to formulate policy.”

Not to worry, for Fox News has got down and dirty and edited a Trump interview. After all, Trump never held any important political office, so cut away Foxy dudes! A fox is the right animal symbol for them.

“Fox News apparently does not like former President Donald Trump’s election fraud claims, so much so that the network edited them right out of an interview he gave over the weekend.

“It’s a disgrace what’s happening, and I don’t think the country’s going to stand for it,” Trump told Fox News host Dan Bongino during an exchange that aired on Saturday.

He pointed to rising violent crime, the move to defund the police, a growing border crisis and the increase in political prosecutions as evidence the country is on the wrong track.

Fox chose to remove what Trump said next.

“Fox News EDITED and CHANGED what President Trump said, censoring out 45 accurately describing the Fake Election,” his spokeswoman Liz Harrington tweeted.

“You have a fake election, you have an election with voter abuse and with voter fraud like nobody has ever seen before, and based on that and based on what happened they are destroying our country,” Trump told Bongino.

Harrington also tweeted a link to the whole interview, which Fox posted on YouTube, so people could have the full context.

The spokeswoman made clear that Bongino had nothing to do with the deletion and likened the move by Fox as right out of Big Tech’s playbook.”
