Just when you thought the pandemic grift might finally be winding down, the same players are back at the table.
Moderna has just landed a juicy $50 million contract to develop an mRNA Ebola vaccine. The money comes from CEPI, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations, an organisation heavily bankrolled by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The timing? A new Ebola outbreak (Bundibugyo strain) is spreading through the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The script feels eerily familiar.
CEPI is already talking about rushing vaccine candidates into trials within months. They're planning to use PCR testing; yes, the same notoriously unreliable PCR that turned flu-like symptoms into a global "crisis" during COVID. The same test that could be cranked up to detect almost anything if you run enough cycles.
During COVID we watched a well-oiled machine in action: declare an emergency, deploy dodgy testing, scare the public, lock things down, then roll out the shiny new mRNA injections with massive government contracts and zero long-term liability for the manufacturers. Now the same institutions; Moderna, CEPI, Gates-linked funding, are mobilising around Ebola with almost identical language and urgency.
Coincidence? Or just another lucrative cycle?
Ebola is a nasty disease. But the speed with which billions in funding and "emergency" infrastructure appear the moment a new outbreak pops up raises serious questions. Especially when the same network of organisations that profited enormously from COVID are once again positioned at the front of the queue.
CEPI was literally created for moments like this, to fast-track vaccines for "emerging threats." And who benefits most when fear drives policy? The pharmaceutical companies holding the patents, the organisations directing the funding, and the billionaires who sit on top of the whole structure.
Many of us warned after COVID that the playbook had been perfected. Fear + PCR + experimental shots + immunity from accountability = an incredibly profitable business model. Now we're watching the early chapters of what looks like Act Two.
The public is exhausted. Trust in institutions is in the gutter. Yet here we are again, with the same players, the same testing methods, and the same rush to "save humanity" with needle and syringe.
If history is any guide, very few people will be held accountable if this follows the COVID pattern. Billions will be spent, mandates may be whispered about, and the winners will once again be the pharmaceutical giants and their well-connected backers.
