Henry Pike is the Federal Member for Bowman, and at last a polly is getting word of what is happening at "our", or is it "Their' universities, such as not passing one's course if your Welcome to Country is a bit off, or not woke enough! Here is his email he sent out just to show I am not making this up, and I will link some articles for further reading

"What's going on at our universities?

Recently I wrote to you about the shocking instances of racism and antisemitism creeping through our campuses.

And now it's come to light that law students at Macquarie University in Sydney will FAIL their course if they don't perform a "good enough" Welcome to Country.

Think about that.

Future lawyers we expect to uphold the law equally to all Australians must bow to this cultural reinvention or fail their assessment.

This is the same university that just got caught labelling non-Indigenous Australians as "visitors" and 'settlers", even if they were born here!

This type of activism is not new unfortunately.

The same people who pushed for the failed Voice to Parliament are now pushing for a so-called "Human Rights Act", which would hand over power to unelected judges.

Indoctrinating a pipeline of young lawyers at one end of the system while empowering left-leaning activist judges at the other.

It's all the more reason why we should not hand over more power to our judicial system.

"Coming just days after another accusation of 'wokeness' at the same university, Indigenous Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price has slammed the exam as 'indoctrination'.

Senator Nampijinpa Price said 'mandating that students participate in what is arguably a reinvention of culture in order to attain a tertiary qualification is an indictment on our education system'.

The NT senator added that it showed universities were 'more interested in indoctrination than genuine education'.

'The whole concept of welcome to country is a reinvention of culture,' Senator Nampijinpa Price said.

'The fact that it is being imposed upon university students in their education institutions, especially when it's being implanted into courses that actually don't have anything to do with Indigenous culture or history or anything like that; this is pure indoctrination. It's not education.'

Indigenous businessman Warren Mundine also said what Macquarie University is doing is 'indoctrination'.

Mr Mundine, who was one of the leaders of the No campaign in the failed Indigenous Voice to Parliament referendum, said he was 'flabbergasted' and that the exam was 'pure indoctrination by a group of fanaticists'.

He said it was 'a dangerous step ... what has that got to do with the actual course?'

Senator Nampijinpa Price added that 'Australians are fed up with being made to feel like they are guests in their own country' and blamed the federal Labor government.

'The Albanese government has allowed activist behaviour like this to take root in our schools and tertiary institutions."
