Who really thought that to be fully vaccinated would mean getting only two jabs? No, get ready to be jabbed unto death. Vaccination mania is the new fanatical religious cult in town.
“The definition of being fully vaccinated against coronavirus may soon change for millions of Australians.
With the Omicron variant spreading rapidly across the country, Scott Morrison has revealed he is taking advice about whether to reclassify what it means to be fully vaccinated and whether that should include booster doses.
The prime minister has called a snap National Cabinet meeting for Wednesday to discuss potential changes to the country’s current COVID response.
It’s understood the focal point of the meeting will be the booster program and responding to state and territory’s chief health officials’ calls for tighter restrictions.
Currently, Australians must wait five months between their second dose and their booster shot.
But there are now calls for that gap to be narrowed to three to four months, with some doctors believing the Omicron variant is spreading rapidly due to waning immunity.
Mr Morrison said Australia needs to continue to adapt to the pandemic and urged state and territory leaders to avoid any knee-jerk reactions.
“Now of course you’re going to calibrate some of the public health social measures that are in place,” Mr Morrison said.
“I’m sure they’ll say things about masks from time to time and they’ll give instruction and advice.
“I think all of that’s helpful.
“What’s important is we just keep going forward. We’re living with it.”
‘Out of proportion’
While some health experts believe introducing some measures now will prevent the need for tough restrictions later, others don’t agree.
Infectious diseases expert Professor Peter Collignon has called for calm, adding he believes the “fear” about the highly transmissible strain “is out of proportion to the facts.”
There have been huge lines at testing clinics across the country as families worry they may have been exposed to the virus in the lead-up to Christmas.
“The vast majority of people in ICU or hospital are those who are not vaccinated, not with a third dose, but with zero doses,” Professor Collignon said.
“If you’re vaccinated, your chance of landing in hospital or dying is very, very low,” he added, pointing out that 26 of the 33 COVID patients in NSW ICU units have not been jabbed.”
We have presented numerous articles contradicting the above claim, including Richard Miller’s coverage of the UK covid infection among the vaccinated.
